I had to go to at dollar store and get a boys black ninja hood from the dollar store and cut off the red bandana off of it to use to cover my husband's ears and the back of his head, otherwise the back of your head shows, your ears stick out and it just looks weird. The gauntlets and armbands do not fit well unless you are a bodybuilder (and by no means is he tiny or huge. He's of average build & height) and we had to tie them (the foam shin/leg guards fit okay). Main costume was decent, but the arm and leg " armor" had straps that broke off and where not useable to tighten down the armor. I spent two hours using a see machine to attach the straps better and shorten them so that they would fit tightly and not far off. The mask has a weird crease in the middle that made it look lopsided. For the money I excepted much better quality.

First off the shipping was super fast which was great. The costume itself is very cheap quality. The blue vest is only on the front so the back is all black which is cheesy. The armor pieces are foam not plastic like in the photos. The mask is absolutely awful. Terrible. The mask is latex and is not what it looks to be in the photo. It does not cover your head only the front of your face and it's not made well at all. I was able to make a mask and get swords to cover my back. I made it work but it's not what I expected.

Awesome: Product was great, however I had to modify the mask so it looked and fit better e.g. Cut the top half off and moved the elastic down a tad made the mask fit a lot better. Then bought a balaclava to cover the rest of my head. The arm bands elastic wasn''t held on to good and I should of superclued the elastic down to make it stronger. The bands ended up falling off half way though the night. It''s a cheap costume but you get what you pay for, after the modifications I made it looked a lot better
Not Bad: Bought this for my brother as I bought the scorpion costume. Ok costume but the down fall is when you want to go to the toilet you need to take the costume off fully. Also the mask is deceiving from the actual picture as the mask does not fit also looks cheap. Would recommend wearing a full sleeve top as the materiel is cheap and can easily rip plus you will get cold. Overall it not a bad costume but the price for this costume is expensive should really be

There are a lot of costumes for a better price on this site" : I wear this costume at party''s, at Halloween events and just for plain old fun. The costume fits well & was in good condition, the design was really good, price of the costume was very good. I was a little disappointed that the molded armor peaces were made of foam instead of plastic and that the mask only covered the front of the face in stead of the the hole head or at least had a fold at the back of it to cover the back of the head.
It is what it is: 1.The suit it self is very nicely made and quality. 2.The pads and gauntlets look excellent but are nothing more than brittle styrofoam. It can break if you push it a bit. I would have paid more if it included plastic accessories.3.MASK IS NOT FULL FACE. It only covers front half of the head. Leaving ears,temple and back expose. (the picture on the box is very misleading) The mask it self is very nicely made however!! Its durable but it has some "loose" corners. (see other peoples pictures) 4.Gauntlets- are not easy to work with if you have small arms (not enough muscle). So I suggest tie the handles in a knot instead of the stickers provided.Overall once you sort those things. The FINAL LOOK is fantastic. It is a cheap material so its hard to get any wrinkles out with an iron because you may burn the material. It is tall and big. I'm 6'1" and it fits me very well. Length-wise, it's perfect for me. Wearing the belt and shin guards, you can't tell it's too baggy. It helps that its sleeveless. I like the jump suit.-The armor is made of foam. They are too big as well, they would fit a body builder maybe. I had to tie them on because of how big they were. I recommend removing them and putting your own on or just using them as tie straps. Nothing major, just little fixes.-The headpiece is what I was most excited to get and most disappointed in. It is a face mask (half mask) so it doesn't cover your whole head like the picture. Sub Zero's ears aren't supposed to be sticking out. It is a heavy rubber/plastic that is folded in half when it arrives so as you see in the picture, you get a cone head. In my pic, I've already done a few modifications to the mask. I cut air holes in it and put rigid plastic at the mouth piece to keep it from folding in half. It will get VERY hot if you don't add the breathing holes. The sides will flop around so you'll prob have to add an extra string around back to hold them in place. I am making my own full head piece (think of a knights headpiece) and attaching the blue mask to that and removing the top helmet part. If the mask were better, I would say the whole costume is great but I almost guarantee that you will be disappointed with the mask.So is it a bad costume? Not at all, you just have to be willing to put a little work into it to make it fit you properly. If you want a costume to open up and just wear right away, I don't think you'll be happy with this.
The costume was a lot more then I expected. It got all the little bit correct and in general was a very good looking costume. The details were excellent and I feel really happy with how it all turned out.That being said there are a couple of problems. Firstly the guards (shoulder, forearm and lower leg) are all one size and that size is rather big. So if your arms/legs are not very large then when you are wearing the costume the guards will constantly slide down.Secondly the mask is very latex-y and extremely hot. The reason why this isn't a big issue however is because a lot of helmet are like this and this helmet is actually really detailed and good.In summary I think that this costume is very good value for money and I would definitely recommend it.
