I bought moto edge 30 two months back. Day before yesterday updated the phone with Android 13 update. It worked well for two hours however slowly it started loosing it's audio. Slowly because sometimes audio was not working. Initially I thought some minor problem might happen, so I restarted phone. It became worst. Audio is gone completely. Phone is taking hours to charge, getting heated. Video is very slow. Moto is not doing anything about it. I can not even hear anything on calls. Basically this phone has become useless

Hey everyone with Motorola Edge 30 out there, this is a very serious issue with the handset. The phone can be unlocked with Any Finger Print on some/fewer attempts. So here's the detail:Motorola is now refunding me the complete amount since they failed to solve the problem in the new Motorola Edge 30 I purchased from Flipkart on 16th March 2023, even the replacement piece also faced the same issue. Now on unlimited follow ups and all Motorola's technical Team involvement, they accepted their failure to identify and solve this security issue. Now they also accepted this issue is first of a kind and they have no such reportings in the past. So friends, Please be aware of this device, it is an unsecure and unprotected. I request everyone one please try to unlocked your Motorola Edge 30 with unregistered Thumb and I'm sure it'll gonna get unlocked in few attempts, it may take upto 50-100 attempts in some cases but it will happen.

I'm revising a recent venture I made. I bought a Motorola Edge 30 Fusion because the Edge 20 fusion was a tiny bit lacking. I must say that I am reasonably impressed with this smartphone. It's been dropped in price but not value for money. It offers a great combo of snappy performance, beautiful display quality and features, solid camera capabilities, and impressive battery life. Here's a breakdown of its key features

For the money, nothing comes close.

Excellent phone. The response is snappy either in 4G or 5G modes. The screen colours are as good as the top-tier phones. Pleasure to have a light phone that can fit your trouser pockets without buldging out, or pulling your trousers down! The phone camera is more than acceptable. A power adaptor and bud-style wired headphones are included. Its a complete package! The only downside is that the included silicon case is very basic and is not a 100% perfect fit, and finding other cases and glass protectors is difficult.

Great device for those who don't want a brick

Great lightweight device with beautiful screen. Slips easily into pocket, feels great in the hand. Cameras are your standard mobile cameras, they're all adequate. "portrait" mode photos are awful no thanks to skin smoothing but that's not device specific. I'm impressed it captures HDR10 4k video thanks to its snappy Snapdragon chip. Runs stock android with some additional Motorola goodness like gestures to easily start up the camera with a twist of the wrist. A highlight is the ability to connect to PC to use phone as a webcam, or easily operate the phone on the pc (or use the phone as a mini computer plugged into a screen, woah). Fast charging is delightfully useful, and battery lasts more than a day for me.

Great value

Mid range phones in this price bracket have gotten much better and it's so competitive now. Purchased the Moto Edge 30 when it was on sale so my thoughts may be a little bias. Battery life is great, at least 7 hours screen time with great standby time and screen set to auto refresh rate so will certainly hit the 144hz for a great smooth experience, even supports fast charging so can charge 0-100% in about 45 minutes. Camera is great when given enough light though white balance isn't as accurate as Pixel for example. Stereo speakers sound decent especially for watching movies on the large display which is also very nice and bright. No issues with fingerprint scanner, though like many phones just be aware that putting a screen protector on can affect this. Playing games has been lag free even playing Asphalt 9 is smooth, interestingly smoother than my Galaxy S22. Having a plastic build is actually a bonus as the phone is light.

Nice, considerably more compact and lightweight
20 May 2023

My previous phone was a monster, couldn't really use with one hand so I decided to go for something smaller, but had limited choices for a snapdragon, oled, wireless charging, wide-screen camera, splash proof, 120hz, dual sim phone, which were my requirements. Only thing missing was audio jack but whatever. The unit is extremely light compared to previous, transferred everything via USB, came with cable and charger, very surprised at how fast it charges, 30 mins to 100%, good accuracy with keyboard, night camera not so good, doesn't have built in GPS. Overall pleased even with these marginal drawbacks.

The Edge 20 Fusion was much better.
7 July 2023

I previously had the Motorola Edge 20 Fusion and was extremely happy with it. I thought I was upgrading after unfortunately smashing the screen on the Edge 20 and being able to find a financially sensible repair place. Unfortunately I've had many issues with the Edge Fusion 30. The screen keeps going dark and I can't get into it without pressing the power button. I lost the USB-C Earbuds that were supplied and I no longer can find a decent wired replacement, even from Motorola. As with most non Apple or Samsung phones it is almost impossible to find a decent cover, which is what led to the demise of my last phone. I've had many Motorola Phones over the years, but this one has left me a bit sad.

Unbelievable - faster than my wife's iphone 13pro
19 January 2023

Ridiculously good phone. I am normally a power user, but saw great reviews of this phone. It drew me in with it's 144hz refresh rate (something not even yet on the iphone 14) and the rest was history. Been using it for a year now and it is nothing short of remarkable. Camera is nice, battery is ridiculous, charging speed is ridiculous, it's light, it's got a nice screen size and the screen quality is incredible. Absolute bargain at this price I guarantee you won't be dissapointed!
