Pros: Great budget smart phone, went from having the Samsung A50 to this and although I miss some features that are Samsung exclusive, glad I made the hop over as I like this phone a wee bit better than my previous one. I like how it is quiet more heavier and thicker to must smart phones, you know it won't break easy when dropped.The finger sensor on the back is lot easier to set up than it was on my Samsung, also unlocks your phone within a second, quickest I've ever had. Cons: The memory is a little low, most phones come with minimum 128GB, where this only comes with 64GB, you lose most due to the system software (after about 5 system updates, it's correctly taken up 20GB which you cannot reduce). Wish you could change the clock style/font/size on the locks sreen.

Cons: Biggest disappointment was after I'd bought it I didn't realise that Motorola do not use a gallery as such, everything goes on to Google photos, which is good but when I transferred all my photos over from my Samsung phone ( with gallery) they all transferred fine except not in any order at all, they are thoroughly mixed up !! I've tried all sorts to get them in order but to no avail, so a big let down. My photos have come across in order on my one drive though ? However this would have put me off the Motorola G20 if I'd have realised before I bought it,vwhichbis a shame as it's a really nice phone for the money.

That said, phones costing around £600+ for a phone is, taking the biscuit! Motorola have priced this model perfectly. Deleting stuff is not straightforward and most frustratingly, control of the visual menus of the screen is more difficult than it should be. This phone does have fingerprint recognition but really should have face recognition these days. Camera modes are also not as easy to control as the Apple interface, and its probably me but using different finger combinations to perform shortcuts, is also a little fiddly and requires careful reading of the Android Users guide. Give this phone a go ands spend time reading the User Guide and you'll probably like the OS more than I do. One major drawback is that none of my banking apps will let me use Google Pay to pay for goods and services like my corporate iPhone does using Apple Pay. This is the greatest negative aspect of this phone

For a budget phone at a great price, this phone does not disappoint. This is my second Motorola phone, with great battery life, and excellent performance overall. The previous Motorola was very reliable, hence I decided to go with the brand again. I don't need 5G at present, but as a run out model this was very affordable, easy to use, and doesn't seem to have any glitches.
Pros: Screen large and very responsive.Battery life is good however takes forever to recharge could get annoying. Cons: The pixel resolution wasn’t great very noticeable how blurry edges and pics were, like your contacts weren’t in! Photos were not great, and filters were odd the colours were off and unnatural unless you are an Oompa Loompa in the first place. You have to pay google extra for extra filters but given the pixel ratio I doubt it would be worth it. Battery life is good but it takes forever to recharge whereas my old iPhone 6 takes only a few secs to come to life so I can use whilst it charges. After three days the loud hello Moto tagline as it updated over and over as I tried to sleep got annoying had to turn it off. I’m afraid the 5g and extra memory ... Pros: Still early days for this handset but battery life is great as with the previous models - Cons: Operating system changes aren't all that smooth. Navigating between apps seems a little clunky with the flick left or right as it often works against scrolling left or right when on a page. Charging is a little slower that the 'turbo charge' from older G models. The supplied cable is very short (meaning it doesn't reach between plug socket and table top or similar).Think I could have saved £50 by getting the G10, doing without 5g which is still patchy and unavailable in rural areas.

It should be super fast etc. This is my 4th Moto G handset, having loved the previous 3, 5 and 7, but I can see this being my last. The camera is soooo slow. If you're looking to capture shots in the moment then look elsewhere. This camera will have missed the shot completely by the time it's ready. Cons: If fitted to a car phone holder, particularly if mounted horizontally it's a bit too easy to inadvertently switch the device off as the power button is in exactly the wrong place. I would prefer to see the Google Assistant button moved to the other side so that the power button and volume rockers could be moved further up.Also slightly disappointed with the camera. Cons: Initially, navigating from screen to screen seemed a little hit and miss but then I realised it was operator error. My previous Motorola G7 power phone was a cynch to navigate so this has taken a bit of getting used to. The phone itself is a little heavier than others on the market but this is due to the heavy duty battery. You can't have it both ways! Overall though, I'm satisfied.
I brought this G50 for my dad. This mobile phone automatically activates google voice control for the device. I have factory reset and start over but the google voice control always came back as the preferred way to access this device. Google read everything on the screen and the touch screen panel became useless. Every second I can hear crazy google talking and can not stop. It can turn it off but required very lengthy YouTube instruction. Anyone who experienced this problem will understand the issues.
