Pros: I didn't have to pay up front for it ! Cons: It lights up at every movement which no good in a car, it catches the eye at every bump in the road or on every bend, I now chuck it on the back seat and if it land up the wrong way it still causes me to look away from the road. Yes you may even have a method of how to turn that feature off - I can't find it. Its too big and clumsy in your pocket, you need to be able to buy a cover fo it that does not include a stand feature, that way you won't keep dropping it. This is a badly thought out phone for business people, it is probably OK for cjildren and teenagers. I would happilly swop it for something smaller.

As good as a flagship phone.

I bought this phone to replace my wife's ancient Moto e4 2nd gen, which was perfectly serviceable, except it only had 8GB storage. The Moto e7i was a revelation's, it's so quick to set up, as fast as my flagship phone which cost ten times as much! She and the grandchildren play platform games on it with no problems, it's has a clear, bright screen with good colour; it takes perfectly acceptable photos and the sound is good too. It's intuitive to use being Android, its shares the same operating system as her tablet so I set it up exactly the same. Battery life is fantastic, probably three times that of my phone. She loves her Moto e7i, even it's size is perfect, not being too wide. It really is good and cost so little to buy, so I'm happy too. When I first inspected this product, it looked to be in perfect condition (nearly brand new). The only flaw being a small scrape (2-3mm long) near the volume button controls that I had to really stare at to see. The overall functionality of this product has been flawless. I have previously owned a Moto E that was brand new, the same version, and I could hardly tell the difference in processing speed or battery length. After using this product for awhile now, with no hiccups or malfunctions, I can write this review wholeheartedly recommending if youre looking for a high quality, reasonably priced phone, youve found it.

David's review of Motorola Moto E7i Power
29 July 2021

Pros: Very good value. Does everything better than my previous phones. The colour. Cons: I would like to have a keyboard that is the normal alphabet e.g. ABCDEF, rather than the QWERTY ones. Only typists need QWERTY ones and it's out of date, in the electronic age you should be able to have any. In the settings you can change the keyboard, there is lots of choices but a lot of them can not be enabled, the Alphabet is there but can not enabled. I've been able to change it on other makes of phone. The network provider O2 take to long to fix problems with the signal. There has been one of the masts, nearest to my home, out of action for over3 months now and they still haven't fixed it!!

Pros: No real good points. A cheap phone that does. Like a borrowed pair of socks. They'll do for the moment but nothing other than that Cons: Improue everything on it and incest in better parts. Cheap pattern part phone. Camera is awful. Loudspeakers awful. Internet connection and loading completely awful. My own kids don't want this phone

Pros: Bigger screen Cons: Turns itself on. Took back to Tesco shop, couldn’t fix. Keeps altering itself. Photo click stopped working by itself. Sounds when plugged in to charge stopped by itself. Placement of mute stupid as when answering phone can touch face and mute whilst answering call. Very annoying.Google assistant button in stupid place. Not wanted and keep pressing on normal use. Idiotic placement.

12 September 2021

Pros: There is nothing I like about this phone. It's a total let down and has given me unnecessary issues Cons: Adding music to an SD card proved to be impossible when transferring it from pc to phone. It would also take all day/night as opposed to just transferring from pc straight to SD card which took no time at all and actually worked. I thought the problem might have been the card, but it confirmed it is the phone at fault. The phone just isn't good. I have had trouble with a few things. It's cheap and just not very good.

Pros: The camera seems very good. Cons: First smart phone I have had and couldn't get it to work properly. When I tried to put contacts in the top row on keypad would only do numbers not letters and when I tried to do a text message I had to tap each letter 2 or 3 times before it worked and the keypad kept disappearing and I couldn't get it back. When I went on the website for instructions I was asked which operating system I had with O.S. 12 being the newest, I discovered mine had O.S. 10. He said it could have any operating system but they can sometimes have bugs in them and he installed an update. The keypad does now work perfectly. Thank you to him but a new phone should not have bugs and should work properly right from the off.One very irritating thing is the metallic voice that says "Hello moto" very loudly when you switch on and there is apparently no way of disabling it.

Martin's review of Motorola Moto E7i Power
17 December 2021

Pros: Battery life is good at about three days. Cons: 1. Operating system is a pain. When you click the go button, for example, a screen pops up asking how it can help you rather than going straight to the apps. There are other examples of' helpful' pages which just get in the way. Even getting on to Google requires dismissing a couple of pointless screens first.2. The WiFi does not connect as easily as previous phone and I often find myself using data rather than being connected to my home or work WiFi.3. When using the phone it's too easy to lose the phone control screen and find yourself unable to hang up or key in numbers on automated calls.4. Dull selection of ring tones.5. Haven't worked out the point of the third side button yet.

Timothy's review of Motorola Moto E7i Power
2 July 2021

Pros: Bought two of these, one for wife and one for me after years of trying to avoid getting smartphones. Covid-19 changed this as it was starting to appear that trying to get things done without a smartphone made things a lot more difficult. Pleasantly surprised how easy the e7i power is to set up and operate. Does everything I want it to do, is fairly intuitive and the battery life is excellent compared to other makes and models. The price is really good so for me, value for money is high. Cons: Doesn't allow "draw over other app" settings as this slows down the phone, thus from this I infer that the cpu is quite low powered. However, for the price I wouldn't expect it to have top of the range components.
