If you you 5W30 and for some reason there is none you can use the 5w40 . im no mechanic but i let me oil warm up a bit more then i do with the 30 weight since its slightly thicker but still runs great. i have had issues on my 15 WrxThank you Dane for finding an alternative for my usual 30 weight

I've tried numerous brands, different viscosity and this Motul X-clean is the best choice for my Wrx. Less oil consumption, smoother power band during hot driving conditions and it keeps the motor lubed and ready to go. Between my Motul oil, my killer b oil pickup, and my IAG Aos I'm protecting my EJ.
This oil along with a engine flush have reduced the oil consumption in my Audi c7 A6 3.0t
This is my go to oil for the 2018 wrx. DI engines tend to shear oil pretty quick hence why I use 40 viscosity Oil analysis comes back great.
Don't even think about it. Buy this for your FA20DIT.
