Motul 5100 is a good choice of oil proven and reliable. I am fussy and have tried most of the other well known brands but keep returning to the 5100 semi synthetic oil for my big bore zrx 1200. 10w 50 weight works well all year round.

I won't use any other oil. For my high revving 250cc engine it lasts longer and has the best clutch friction to get off the line
I have been using Motul 5100 10W 40 engine oil in my Yamaha Mt 09 & it hasn't let me down. I don't think you can go wrong with Motul oils.
I’ve been using Motul oil products in my 03 V Star 1100.for the past 10 years. Motul 5100 4T Ester continues to keep my 20 yr old bike running flawlessly.

I use this oil in my Kawasaki. The bike never uses any oil. I change it more often than I need to but oil is cheaper than new engines.
I prefer to buy local, but I also don't like to be ripped off. Local price is 100% more! I've been buying this oil from Bikebiz for nearly 3 yrs and I still can't get it cheaper anywhere else and it's delivered to my door.Nice work Bikebiz.
Back when Motul was just emerging on the Aussie oil scene, Castrol Advance was the flavour that many chose again and again. Motul had a reputation of producing an excellent 2-stroke oil and it seems they've developed their 4-stroke range to the point where they pretty much own the market. This oil is the entry point and the viscosity suits most applications. It's priced a little high for what it is, but you get the confidence that it's doing what it need to. I does darken in colour quite early but this doesn't seem to affect its performance. I recommend it as a staple.
