Economical as none goes to waste making a cup at a time. I like my coffee strong, so easy for me to make to taste.Like that it comes in a glass jar. The plastic lid is not great. Does not seal well, is not biodegradeable.Competitive pricing especially when combined with sales, subscriptions, trials, quantity discounts. Fast shipping, too.

I make decaf coffee fresh at home in a machine, but I needed something that I could take travelling with me. Difficult to find decaf organic firstly, even more difficult to find single serves - this is amazing! The taste is really good. I take a little hand frother and these when I travel, so I can make a quick easy cappuccino. I also keep a couple in my bag, if I happen to go to a café that doesn't serve decaf, they are usually happy to let me use this. Have been repurchasing for years. Hope I helped you out.

I love my coffee. And I love it caffeinated and poured over. So to give an instant decaf coffee a good review says a lot. I’m currently breastfeeding and trying to keep my caffeine intake low (one caffeinated coffee a day), but still craving a warm coffee again by mid-afternoon. I’ve tried many decaf brands in the past and did not like them. Mount Hagen coffee is actually good though! I don’t know what it is, but I definitely enjoy it. Does it replace my caffeinated coffee? No. But it’s a perfect placeholder in the meantime.
I am not a big coffee drinker so I use instant, but never found one I really liked (which is probably why I never drank much). I ordered Mount Hagen instant and liked it so much that I ordered the decaffeinated too. Both smell and taste really good. I like their statement about their quality standards and I like the individual serving packaging, because you know that every serving is fresh. I am definitely drinking more coffee now than I have for years. I served it to a couple who drink lots of coffee and are very particular about it and they really were impressed; they loved it too.
I bought both the caffeinated and de caffeinated version for myself and father-in-law based on the positive reviews. I usually use bustelo instant espresso and he uses Folgers instant. I figured fair trade, organic, high altitude, glowing reviews, etc… and I’d be upgrading my coffee. WOW- NO! Absolutely horrible. Tastes like any crappy cup of coffee you’d expect from a 1 star hotel. My father-in-law said the same. I’ve never had Folgers, but I trust his opinion. I’d skip this! I rarely write reviews, but felt compelled to save others.
Positives- Strong, pretty robust.- Perhaps this is as good as instant gets and its more than palatable. - Im spending less at the coffee shop and trying to migrate over to this during the week to save hundreds of coffee shop pounds. This instant is helping me make that shift. I dont dread making a cup of it in the morning or sulk around wishing I had my coffee shop coffee instead.Negative- Lack of smell is noticeable which affects the overall experienceAdvice- Best without milk and definitely two rounded teaspoons required
I LOVE this decaf coffee. I drink it cold. I'm an intermittent faster and in the afternoons, I switch from the regular Mount Hagen Organic Fair Trade Instant Coffee to this. I've tried other instants available from Vitacost and don't like them as much. Should probably add that I wasn't a coffee drinker prior to intermittent fasting. :)
I’ve been buying this coffee for years and I actually liked it Until recently. It doesn’t taste the same as it used to. And the last bottle I tried I thought I would try one more time. But it’s actually been making me physically sick. Every time I have it I get really bad headache feel very low energy and need to pee every five minutes as my body is trying to get it out of my system. I’m not sure what’s going on but it’s definitely the coffee I had a rest from it for a few days and felt better and then I thought I’d try one more cup. Big mistake same thing again so I’m throwing it away unfortunately and not trying again.
