Bought these to hike around central Australia. After 2 weeks I can confirm these are the best hiking socks I own. Cool, comfortable, supportive and easy to wash.
I love all the Mountain Design socks as the extra padding is just in the right places and they don't slip down when you are walking. I don't find them hot to wear so the Coolmax is obviously working. If you want warmth buy the ones with Merino in them.
not as comfortable as I thought they would be. the double thick layer is a bit like having a stone in your shoe. pressure on top of foot.
