I bought this jacket recently for it's design features and it's high waterproof rating. I tested it in a steady but not heavy shower. After half an hour water was seeping through. Not great for what this jacket claims to be. Definitely not waterproof. I returned it straight away.

i recently puchaesed this for my husband who loves it.
The very first time I wore this it rained light to moderately for 20 minutes max and I was drenched. The water came straight through to the inside. It's a shame, because it's actually a very comfortable jacket. But there's no point spending money on a rain jacket that's not waterproof, especially when it has such a high rating. I would add a photo, but I've already returned it. I wouldn't trust this brand in the future.
Extremely disappointing. This jacket leaked on first use in a light shower. The Kawana store had been very helpful when I made the purchase and offered a no quibble refund. I did not want another dud, so I decided not to exchange the jacket and bought elsewhere. I've lost confidence in the brand.
Very light, comfortable and functions extremely well in wet weather conditions.
