However when I came back to the states, the gimbal started acting up. I have to replace the battery so many times and even when the new battery comes in, they do not work or hold charge like they're supposed to. And to some who are curious about how I charge my battery, it was with the OEM charger on 4 hours. I never overcharge my batteries nor underchage them. The gimbal feel very nice, but having this for any actual work is a LOST. Do not recommend for professional or hobbyist.

You should read the warranty on the manufacturer website before purchase, because there are at least 4 different itemizations with different coverage durations. Gudsen support is mediocre - they publish a bunch of non-working email addresses on their website, an online form failed to post... it took me 4 attempts to get a response, and the first thing they wanted was my serial number, which was included on the first line of my initial contact request.One of the supplied Moza 18650 batteries shipped with my unit failed, rendering the gimbal useless. Bottom line: if you buy this gimbal, buy a spare set of Moza 18650 cells or put your production at risk and waste weeks without a working gimbal.Another beef: the adhesives used by Moza to secure the fake leather covering of the battery compartment door / handle didn't last a year. The covering simply sloughed off, a complete failure of adhesives. This gimbal seems to be high maintenance. I work on it more than it works for me.That said, I'm not all complaints. I still love Moza Air 2 for the purpose I bought it: fully capable of carrying a Panasonic GH5S with a standard zoom lens (I'm using a Panasonic - Leica 8-16mm) *plus* the Panasonic XLR1 audio adapter and a pair of Sennheiser AVX receivers. This is a totally slick configuration -- show me any other gimbal rig capable of flying 2 channels of professional wireless audio. Plus, the motors are strong enough to use a featherweight HDMI cable connected to an outboard recorder like the ATOMOS Ninja V.Small Rig supports this gimbal with accessory mounting points and handles, a real plus considering the larger payloads it is capable of.This is not a lightweight gimbal, but for higher quality rigs, it can be ideal. In theory. Only thing is, the gimbal has to be reliable.
I use this gimbal with my a6300 + 10-18 and it works great. I like that they DID include the tripod base as it makes balancing so much easier. I found the gimbal relatively pretty easy to balance (You Tube videos help) and I have never run out of juice on the gimbal. One thing I will say is that ALL gimbals take a little time to master to get really buttery smooth footage, so you should practice a few time just to get used to it. Also the smartphone apps lets you maintain four separate settings profiles with the camera configuration that work best (if you have different camera bodies and lens combinations). I will say out of the box the pan and tilt were a bit to fast for my taste, but the app let me slow it down to where I like it and now it is saved for future ... The case is very sturdy and the foam cut-outs keep is save for transporting. The battery charger is a little big, but not as big as it looked in the pictures. Another bonus of this gimbal is that they provide a Sony and Panasonic shutter cable which in real use is more valuable then I thought it would be because the a6300 video record is recessed and prior when I would start/stop record on the camera it would jerk, this cable eliminates this problem as it is a light touch on the gimbal to start/stop for very smooth video. Other Air Cross benefit is that you can grab the camera and just point it to where you want it to shoot and the gimbal does not fight you (as long as you turn on that option in the smartphone app). For each the four profiles you can change the default operation mode which for me I prefer as I usually use one the majority of the time over the others for now and it always starts the gimbal in that mode. I never heard of Moza/Gudsen before, but they really thought out this package as it has everything you need to get started and option to take it to the next level (like dummy battery that feed power off of the gimbal so you do not have to remove the camera to change the spent camera batteries). It is built very solid and does have weight to it but that is what makes it secured and balance. Quaility of the gimbal is great and very smooth edges/construction. The fact that they included a quick releases makes it easier to swap cameras or mount when going out to shoot quickly. I cannot say anything bad about this gimbal and the package they put together. Only option I might consider in the future is the dummy battery, but will see. I have not started with the time-lapse modes yet, but they seem very robust and look forward to learning those.

I bought the Moza Air 2 from B&H. I stabilized my camera on it and tested it at home. No problem very nice. Then I decided to upgrade the firmware. Upgrade was successful. Turned it off and back on. Got an error 0c00 that never goes away. Contacted tech support and I was told that error 0c00 is that the stabilizer needs calibration and they referenced to watch a video on YouTube which I already watched before the error popped up and it talks about stabilizing the gimbal also this video was poorly made. I contacted support always by email andvtold them how in the world would I be able to calibrate the gimbal if the error never goes away. The gimbal is advertised as working with the Blackmagic Pocket and EOS R and as supporting a maximum load of 9.25 lbs. Even my heaviest lenses plus the cameras are well below that weight, so I didn't think there'd be any issue. (As a side note, you need something like the Small Rig Offset Plate in order to mount a Pocket since it doesn't fit otherwise, even though it's advertised as being compatible).Upon receiving the gimbal I found that almost all of my lenses were unusable (Otus 28, Otus 50, Sigma Art 40 and 18-35, RF 50 1.2, RF 28-70, Canon CN-E's...none of them will balance). I am using it with a Canon 5D Mark VI and it works well. To clarify what another viewer said about it interfacing with Canon cameras - It will not control focus without using the iFocus motor. I knew that from the start so it was not a surprise. The iFocus motor works extremely well, but figuring out how to mount it took hours of experimentation. The iFocus motor also controls the zoom well on my Canon 24-70 F2.8 II lens.The motors on this gimbal are very strong and I love the menu that can be accessed on the handle. There is mostly no noise while it moves and its movement is incredibly smooth. the movement speed is adjustable for speed. Im a first time newbie so mostly im amazed at the precision this device offers. I want to do video but can see it being very useful for other still photo uses. There is a 1/4x20 female on the battery holder and a table top tripod is included which is very high quality it matches my 30$ Cullman for build Q. Many complain about balancing being difficult and it does require some effort and care but it is not hard. The camera mount comes with index marks so if you need to change a battery you can set it back where it was. People state that it is important to balance your cam as you will use it. My lens is a retractable so when I turned the cam on the lens popped out and changed the balance. A 37 mm skylight filter will change things when removed as will changing the zoom setting. When I put my articulated screen back in stow mode the cam droops so for balance it needs to be in operation mode dressed with what ever filters, hoods, cards and batteries will be used and zoomed to the focal length to be used or maybe in its mid range. I can see me attaching this to a monopod for a heightend viewpoint and possibly using to get a perfect sweep panorama as I often have to do that more than once to get a good one that the camera will accept. So as a neophyte I am on a learning curve that appears not so formidable after a few hours of play time. I did have to set it aside and watch some more how toos more than once but I am mostly beyond the set up stage. I am new to video also so its a double learning curve for me.
