Moza Mini-MX Foldable Mobile Gimbal

Total value for the money. I was considering DJI OM 5, but it was overpriced. Also got delivered within a couple of days.Thanks.

Can't use it, App no longer available

I unpacked this thing and headed to Google Play store to get the app, the Moza Genie app is no longer offered and no alternative available. Contacted Moza customer support and they responded with a download link but was too large and didn't work, virus threat. Right now I have a toy that I can't use because the manufacturer thought it's a good idea to remove the app but continue to sell the product, brilliant eh.

Decent

This gimbal is decent for using with an iPhone. However, it lacks customization such as inverting the tilt controls (I am used to airplane mode where pushing the joystick up tilt the device down etc.), the speed is relatively slow and some features such as shutter and starting the recording just don't work. The quality of the video in its native app is also poor (maybe due to the encoding?).

Excellence

Having recently purchased the Moza Mini MX Gimbal for my Apple iPhone 11 Pro I am very pleased with the product and its Bluetooth app. Both are very fit for purpose as promised. The B&H service and international delivery is, as usual, excellent too.

Getting to Know This Nice Gimbal

The app really helps. I have a different gimbal that the app doesn't live up to this one app. I'm getting to know and getting use to this nice gadget.

Pros: Good product in there somewhere but very flaky.Cons: Works fine one day then next day more problems. I.e wont focus, still photo dies. Mozas own software even more unreliable good when it works infuriating when it doesn't.

Not for Android phone

The gimbal itself is ok Even takes big screen Samsung phone (A71).Phone app, however, is not for Android phone. It limits video recording to 1080 only. No 4K or 180p 60fps.I called the support, and they said iPhone app offers all the advertised feature, but not with Android app.1080p video recording also looks bad (too much contrast, and changing in exposure). Has real hard time connecting via app (although phone pickup the gimbal via Bluetooth right way), and drops connection every 10 seconds. Not sure if it just me, but charging cable must be USB a to c. I tried USB c to c cable and it won't charge. Tried 3 different c to c cables including various charger, including my LG thunderbolt port.

Really nice gimbal

Arrived on time nicely packed in great condition. Unpacking and initial setup was no problem, downloading app was okay but using it at first after setup was buggy focus buttons did not work for a while, but after restarting phone all was well. When I had my ipad and other device bluetooth on app could not pair with phone, when I turned these other devices off, all worked fine. Overall a good basic gimbal that I like.

Terrible product

This is a terrible product. Very hard to operate.We returned it as it turns on and off by itself.

awesome for smaller phones

Overall the gimbal is a good bit of gear, but it does come with its downsides. For instance if you have a larger phone (i.e Iphone 12 Pro Max) it just doesnt like it, it cant rotate properly and all the motors shut off and the whole thing goes limp. But if you have a smaller phone this gimbal is unrivaled for the quality to dollar figure it provides.
