I have to admit that I expected that I would not like these, but they're actually nice! The cake is soft and has sultanas and the like throughout, and there are little chunks of sugar on top to add yet more sweetness (Maybe a little less of these would be ideal.). You can also taste the spices listed, like ginger and nutmeg and so on. The bars come in packets of 2. I am honestly surprised - these are very tasty and yet with all natural flavours. However, with a quick look at the nutrition label, one might be advised to be wary of eating these too often. I do hope that palm oil will eventually be removed from the recipe or that sustainable sources will be sought instead sometime soon, too

You know the drill, currants and sponge, what’s not to like?! Everyone has a great Aunt who will religiously stock these as a cake selection staple, alongside cans of lilt as a treat. You can’t go wrong with this classic, although for £2.75, I’m telling my great Aunt Elsie to move to a cheaper alternative!

The sponge on these country slices is disgusting, I'm sorry i have been buying Mr kipling for 30 years and never complained, these were disgusting the slices did not taste like a fruit slice the sponge contents had a weird taste and did not tatse like your were biting into a sponge cake it was horrible and far to sugary and not enough fruit. Never buying again.

A mini fruit cake that is already sliced for you. Moist and soft, as with most Mr Kipling cakes. Nothing to blow you away in the flavour, but a still a solid choice!
Nice little fruity cakes with good flavour and light sponge. Not my favourite product from Mr Kiplings range, but still quite nice to eat. Really handy for the kids pack lunch as they are sealed in pairs.
I got these as a substitution and kept them as I used to like them. I don't know what Mr. Kiplings have done to the recipe but the cinnamon is overpowering and the cakes dry with unpleasant taste and texture. I won't be buying these again.
I really like these little slices. They are so handy to have in the cupboard for a quick break with a cup of tea. I love the fact that they are suitable for vegetarians and do not contain any artificial colours or hydrogenated fat and do contain 100% natural flavours. If I have a very filling meal and just want a light dessert I take just one of these with some custard.
These surprised me! Not sure why I didn't think they would be nice but they were lovely! Nice and sweet light and soft. Not as heavy as a regular fruit cake which I loved!
