The GTX 1650 originally launched with GDDR5 memory. This is a product refresh equipped with GDDR6. Contrary to popular belief, the memory upgrade results in a vastly different card -- over 10% in most gaming scenarios. This iteration of the GTX 1650 is how it should have been launched in the first place. This is a capable 1080p gaming GPU that will comfortably deliver 60 FPS in most titles (more if you give it a slight overclock).

This is an overall great card, Im OC the daylights out of it and it barely touchs 71c. Plays all of my older favorites no problem even on ultra quality. BUT dont expect to play rdr2, cyberpunk or any other high texture open world game outside of Skyrim and fallout 4. Larger tv and monitor upscaling gives terrible FPS even on low quality, use a smaller high quality monitor for best results. Im a huge fan of MSI and appreciate the quality of the card but I feel the time and money put into that insane 6000mhz mem frequency could of been put to better use adding 2GB memory and adding some more cuda cores for modern gaming. Overall 4 out of 5 but since you cant find any others lets just call it the only 4 your going to get right now.

Directly... "out-of-box"... and into my desktop, as well as my wife's desktop we have had no problems. We both play World of Warcraft, about 8years now. It gives us something to do, to keep our minds off of our disabilities. Anyway, I had to get these video cards because the game developers have "tweaked" the video programing for the "upcoming" next expansion, so when they do that, if you have an almost "low end" video card, it could start crashing.I researched to find a reasonable video card, that was more than what the game requires, as well as a reasonable price, and so this video card, satisfies both.

Needed to replace faulty NVidea Graphics card. Researched quite a few in the 200 -300 price range. This one was very comparable when looking at various cards on sale. Currently there are very high prices for graphics cards due to COVID supply issues however this one was a reasonable price. Comes with good software and the over locking software is excellent as it automatically assessed your rig and produces the best solution. Noticeable difference from my previous card . Highly recommend
"newer" systems don't even see it as an Nvidia chip video card. Shows up as generic video card and loads the standard Microsoft drivers. Nvidia driver downloaded and says no, this is not an Nvidia card. I even tried this on an MSI motherboard (MSI Geforce video card here) and got the same thing. Tried it on an old Intel Core 2 Quad system and for some odd reason, it shows up there perfectly and loads the driver. However, the Core 2 quad is way too weak of a CPU to use with this video card for gaming. I was just curious if it would work on anything at all. All systems running Windows 10. Would this work better with Windows 7 ? I can run my low profile GTX 1050 ti in any of these computers without an issue. I like Windows 7 but was hoping to set that OS aside finally... not sure what the solution is yet. I will update this review if I figure something out
This graphics card is great for anyone looking to make a budget high-end gaming PC. It has the capability to run nearly every game at 60fps at 1080p, no lag! It has a slick look to it as well, which is definitely a plus. It may make a little extra sound, but that's to be expected with the two fans it comes with. Honestly, I don't understand how anyone could write a bad review for this product, or call it less than what it is. MSI, the manufacturer of this particular card model, treats their customers well too, providing ways for excellent in-game recording, and a overclocking app as well to make things easier in that reguard.
So far, so good! Would buy from this seller again. Arrived in good condition, ahead of time, and has an easy install for a simpleton like myself. I am no tech wizard, and this is my first time buying parts for my computer. I have an old Dell optiplex 990 and just wanted something to get my feet off the ground, so a video card was a must. Others were above my tiny budget, while this one was much cheaper in comparison. And it was on the market at the time I needed it. So there's that.
I would recommend the MSI GeForce GTX 1650 to anyone in need of a great performing half-height video card. From what I've found, this is the most powerful half height video card as of January 2021. It's easy to install and will work with the stock 250W power supplies in the small desktop and SFF PCs. I was lucky and just ordered a second of this video card for my daughters 7010. I was on a waiting list for almost a month before another was available. I'm using these cards to replace GeForce GTX 1050 cards from a different manufacture. The 1050 cards were glitchy causing the monitor to briefly black out 10+ times a day. Very frustrating when you're attending school remotely and even more frustrating when playing a game with your friends. ;) Troubleshooting the issue ... MoreI would recommend the MSI GeForce GTX 1650 to anyone in need of a great performing half-height video card. Very frustrating when you're attending school remotely and even more frustrating when playing a game with your friends. ;) Troubleshooting the issue ruled out heat or a power issue with the pc. Different monitors were tested too. After swapping to the 1650 the black out issue has not occurred once in the past month, confirming the issue was with the 1050 card. One more to replace... The current Nvidia GTX driver was already installed so the swap from the 1050 to the 1650 was just the hardware.
Slightly higher priced than normal but with the current shortage in the market it makes sense, so my rating is still 5 stars as it is running very smoothly with higher end games in high settings. I have paired it with a ryzen 3600 so it has been for a budget gaming pc that can run most games with 60+ fps. I think at the highest end they might struggle to get past 40 but up to now I have been able to run quite a few games without the fps dropping at max settings, I will keep testing. But I am well aware the graphics card is NOT the only reason for this, but if you are like me trying to build a budget system this1650 will be great for you, mine is also running at a faster than advertised speed at 1720-ish.
My 750ti said it really needed an upgrade after years of hard work, so I listened. Technically, I should've been able to get a 3050 GFX Card for the price I paid. Except Crypto Bros and lovers of illegal alike said "Nah" and caused GFX cards to double in price. I waited and waited even after the GFX Makers said the prices were going to drop. And surprise! They didn't drop. So... It's safe to say these are the new price. Oopsie. So I guess y'all can wait if you can until prices drop or until you get more cash to buy a worth while upgrade. But if you're going to need something like a 1650 as an "upgrade" then chances are your GFX is on its last leg/OLD like mine was. I rated it a 5 Star because the card itself does what it does and I can't be mad at NewEgg for selling ... MoreMy 750ti said it really needed an upgrade after years of hard work, so I listened.
