MSI GeForce RTX 4080 16GB Ventus 3x OC Graphics Card

The card itself performs very well and I am happy with how it performs in everything (mainly gaming), however I dont like how much I paid for it. My reason for purchasing the card is because it is just small enough for my case.Pros-One of the smaller 4080s and can fit in my NR200p Max-Is quite in comparison to my old 3060ti Aorus Master-Consumes less power compared to other 4080 variantsCons-Is expensive for price to performance-The 3x8 pin power adapter that is for all 40 series cards, just why Nvidia

4080 Founders but Better

While the build quality doesn't feel as solid as the higher end versions of the card, the weight and size of the card make up for it. The smallest and lightest 4080 you can get.Not much else on the card in terms of bells and whistles. Just better than a founders card in looks, weight, size, and a slight overclock. Performs wonderful and way more stable than any AMD cards I tried.

Awesome card and performa wi h proper case cooling

What can I say this card is performing way better than I expected 110fps in cyberpunk ray tracing ultra mode with dlss in auto @1440pThe description for the card(MSI) says the boost clock is 2535mhz. Even though the max power limit is 100% for this version. Its actually boosting to 2750mhz on its own while keeping temps around 70c with 30% fan. I added 100mhz more on the core oc to get a total of 2850mhz on the core. Been playing for hours and the temps just went to 72-74. If you dont mind louder fans you can ramp up the fans to go to 70% and lower temps to 60c under this conditions.I have a NzHT case H5 with postive airflown pressure with rear exhausts.Not sure if all cards can get boosted that high. I have proper case cooling. Cool and quiet

Got this card specifically due to its relatively short length compared to other 4080’s. This just barely fits into a Sliger Cerberus X. This card is very quiet even under full load and stayed under 68 degrees C. Benchmarks show this card sits between a 3090ti and a 4090 in terms of performance but consumes much less power than either. Nice card to buy especially if you need to run applications that require an Nvidia card. If you don’t need Nvidia features and don’t care about raytracing, the AMD 7900xtx might be the better value.

Failed after 15 days

When it worked it was a fantastic card. 15 days of usage and display began cutting out and artifacts on screen. It was in a well ventilated icue 7000X tower with a liquid cooled processor and 10 fans. A shame as I liked this card. I returned this and went with a different brand. A shame EVGA no longer makes cards for Nvidia

Fantastic graphics card, value however...

This card absolutely rocks, it runs any game I have thrown at it easily, running almost everything at 1440P, 144hz/fps, at highest graphical settings. It fits in my Corsair 4000D, but only barely with a 280mm rad at the front. I would suggest going with something larger like the 5000D honestly. The temps have been fine and it has been running great. The value of this card is a very hard sell though, for nearly $1,300 it is insanely expensive compared to previous iterations of Nvidia 80 series cards. It is tough to say, but I almost feel as if I should have gone with a 4090 when it came to spending this amount of money. Great Card - Overpriced

Positives:- As far as I know this is the smallest 4080.- It runs very cool.- Max settings on games like Cyberpunk 2077 at 1440p without any issues what so ever. Rather amazing that the card doesn't even seem to start to heat up.Negatives:- Overpriced for performance. Though I will say that I think reviewers, tech people, etc. need to factor in inflation. The card is overpriced, but it isn't THAT overpriced.In comparison to the new AMD 7900 XT and XTX I think this card is worth it even at this price point if you enjoy ray tracing in games at 1440p or 4k gaming.

The way its meant to be played.

Killer gpu from nvidia. Runs games at insane fps even with rt maxed. Blows 7900 xt out of the park. Radeon sucks period. Unless you want buggy drivers and BSOD. Nvidia runs the gpu business period. Love my 4080 more than a fat man loves mcdonald's. I highly recommend this wonderful piece of gaming heaven. Enjoy and remember dont support radeon.

You get what you pay for - which is a lot!

While this was rather obscenely expensive, you do get a pretty incredible card capable of running basically any AAA game in maxed out settings on 1440p and many of them in 4K as well. I had originally purchased an RX 6950XT and thought I was smart to save the cash, but ended up instantly regretting the decision when I fired up the system and it had the worst coil whine from any card I have ever owned. I immediately ordered this 4080 and I can say it is 100% free of any audible coil whine (and I have a mesh case sitting right by my monitor on my desk). It's incredibly quiet, performs amazingly, and even though its fairly huge it still fits just right in my Fractal Meshify 2 Compact case. smallest 4080

Great card. Silent while not gaming. Plays everything. Upgrading from Radeon RX 570. It just fits in my Thermaltake Tower 100 case. Happy with purchase. Smallest 4080 there is. I did replace my glass sides with mesh for better ventilation. Those gpu fans move a lot of air.
