Great GPU. Runs like a dream and can handle anything. Currently on 1440p but upscaling to 4k just to make it use some effort. Next on the list is 4k monitor.Using a 850w minimum recommended PSU - no problems encountered. I'm using a Corsair 600w 12VHPWR to connect to PSU instead of adapter that comes shipped (have to use certain Corsair PSUs for this).Quality construction, well designed look. Comes with GPU support stand. Can customise the RGB with MSI mystic light.Only downside is the cost of high end GPUs in general, however I invested now and won't need to upgrade for the foreseeable.Excellent service from CCL. Prompt dispatch and delivery, arrived in tip top condition. Would definitely use them again.

Upgraded from a 1080ti and the difference is staggering. I now require a CPU upgrade to even get 100% out of this card in gaming but in applications such as Blender or AI generation (stable diffusion, flowframes, chaiNNer) it's simply unbeatable. This model itself runs extremely cool and quiet, no coil whine, and it looks professional. The brushed aluminium is gorgeous. A bit of a nitpick on other products, but the white setting for the RGB lights is actually white.Pros: extremely fast, professional looking, cool and silent, high VRAM.Cons: weight (comes with metal supporting arm), size (may be too large for some cases), and cost (no getting around this but it is a no compromise card).

I bought this a month ago and have not had any issues with it. The card itself is pretty thin and will easily fit into a mid size or small case. The thing you need to look out for it is the radiator. I originally tried installing this into a O11 Dynamic mini, and the card fit perfectly regardless of whether I installed it vertically or horizontally. The issue i ran into was the fan/rad mounting slots on the top were not positioned far enough away from the back of the case. The result of this was the radiator collided with the RAM slots, I ended up installing this card into a Lian LI Mesh II mid size case and everything went in without issue. I will say I do not like the adaptor that connects the PCI cables to the card, seems very fragile, I would recommend you buy ... MoreI bought this a month ago and have not had any issues with it. Easily boosts to 3Ghz with undervolting.
15 March 2023

Video card easily boost up to 3Ghz with undervolting and using less than 480watts in furmark. In games the power consumption is less.Do not mount this card horizontally to keep temps in check. When mounted horizontally temps are going out of control a bit, it is probably due to some air bubbles getting stuck inside. On my end when mounted vertically I can easily keep GPU and RAM bellow 70C with hotspot running up to 74C with ambient temp around 24C.CPU and GPU radiators are working as exhaust making sure I have no undesired heat source inside the pc case.Overall my card is quiet even though I hear some complains about coil whine.

Great thermals, chance of coil whine
24 January 2023

Performance is amazing for content creators and gamers alike.I got 2 of this same card for 3D animation and rendering. It is an excellent performer and stays very cool. However one of the cards I got had unbearable coil whine. I could hear it with the side panel closed (I am using Fractal Torrent case). This is a big issue since viewport runs uncapped in Blender Eevee viewport. Which means that this card will squeel everytime I move in the viewport. This quickly becomes irritating while working. I was using this card in the Torrent case (an airflow focused case) is because it is the only way for me to have dual 4090 without going custom loop or using a 4 slot spacing MB to house 2 giant air cooled cards. I was using this card in the Torrent case (an airflow focused case) is because it is the only way for me to have dual 4090 without going custom loop or using a 4 slot spacing MB to house 2 giant air cooled cards. I have the Liquid X on the first slot and a Zotac trinity on the second slot. Having dual 4090 nearly doubles render speed when working with pathtraced engines such as Cycles, Octane, Vray, etc... however when I work in the viewport, the coil whine is a major issue.I got 5 4090 cards. MSI Trio, MSI Liquid X, Zotac Trinity.- Zotacs had cheaper build, fan motor noise. But no coil whine- Gaming Trio had bad but barely bearable coil whine- one of the liquid X's had bad coil whineFrom my research. It seems MSI and Asus have the most coil whine this generation. If you can find an FE card then go for that.Overall. I really liked this card and the build quality is excellent. I hope the coil whine issue is addressed in future releases. Until then I can't recommend this card if you use it for 3D work.

High Quality VR Now Possible

Powerful enough to push high graphics quality and framerates on a high resolution VR headset (4k+ total resolution). Gaming at 1440p will easily generate more fps than most monitors and the cpu will need to catch up. Not worth running this with anything less than 1440p. Very pleased with the 4090 Suprim Liquid X. Installation was quick. Almost a direct replacement to my 3090 Kingpin. This thing is a massive improvement. DLSS3 is nice. Capped 119 fps g-sync with my LG oled in Witcher 3 with full RT. Cyberpunk at max settings also impressive over 100fps @4k with psycho RT settings. Uses almost half the watts with over 2x the performance as my old card. Installation was quick and a direct replacement, took me all of 30 minutes to perform the swap. Card size is about the same as the Kingpin. I used the Corsair 12VHPWR adapter for a clean install. It didn't take long to find one of these in stock here at Best Buy, just needed to check once or twice a night during the month of Jan and it finally turned yellow so I ordered. Pros:1.High performance. The best choice for 4k monitor or TV.2.Quiet. I think this card is one of the quietest 4090.3.Good temperature control. Rog 24+4, TUF 18+4, FE 20+3, trio 18+4, Aorus 24+4. The best one among all 4090Cons:1. Coil whine. It is very common for 4090. Maybe some lucky guys can get a 4090 without coil whine. You can set the power limit below 80% to reduce coil whine. ( If you want to avoid coil whine, Gigabyte and Zotac may be a better choice)2. Cooling performance (compare with other 4090). Compared with other 4090, the slots for cooling are smaller (Maybe this is for the diamond argb). Of course, it is not an issue.3. Connector may melt.Overall, Suprim is one of the best 4090. Upgraded from a 3080ti (MSI Gaming X). Honestly, I was very surprised at the performance improvement. The 4090 rips through anything you can throw at it. I currently have it paired with a Ryzen 7700x and Samsung G8 (4K @ 240hz). This is truly an immersive experience. I also have a 1080p 360hz monitor, and as a fellow gamer said "its as smooth as butter". As for the specific model (Suprim Liquid X), I couldn't be more pleased. The cooling is phenominal. Running 4k extreme settings will push it low-mid 50c max. Compared to my Gaming X 3080ti, its half the thickness of the air cooled version (not accounting for the radiator). The radiator simply needs a bolt up, the fans are pre-wired from the factory so you just plug in the pcie 4.0 slot and you are good to go. There ... MoreUpgraded from a 3080ti (MSI Gaming X). There is a small bios switch on the side allowing you to change from silent/gaming. I have kept it on gaming the entire time, but it seems pretty quiet to me. I chose to apply a custom fan curve via Afterburner, but it's really not necessary. The radiator fans are non-RGB which is fine with me. I haven't tried, but it looks like you could simply unscrew/disconnect the fans and re-connect some RGB variant if you wanted. There is also a fan on the bottom of the GPU built into the cooler. RGB on the card itself is minimal but clean. The card comes with a custom mouse pad from MSI, which is a nice touch. Perhaps not quite as nice as the championship style ring that ASUS was including in their 30 series, but a more practical gesture IMO. The MSI center doesnt cooperate great with other brands, but the recent LED patch they rolled out seems to help a bit. The factory RGB is the typical rainbow effect. Only downside is the ridiculous adapter cable included (yes the one everyone says will melt/catch fire). If you have a new PCIE 5 PSU then you should be able to go straight from GPU with the new single cable, but most will have to bundle x4 pcie cables somewhere to get this thing juiced. As far as actual power output, The highest I have seen via afterburner monitor is ~520w. If you are an enthusiast look no further than this 4090 Suprim liquid X.

Specifically for the later item, the 4090 is just about the only card that gets close to a no compromise visual experience. It allows for a immersive VR ACC experience.Do I recommend it? Yes.
