I really like this monitor when considering it's use as a standalone panel. Compared to my previous MAG272CR VA 1080P panel, this IPS 1440P panel is a step above and beyond. The only point where it lags behind is in contrast ratio as with any IPS panel when compared to VA's. The wide color gamut is very apparent and although it comes out of the box a tad oversaturated, most people will enjoy that "vivid" color range even if it's not accurate. The downside of this monitor is really for those looking for a multi-monitor setup. Where that thin border really makes this panel useless to those looking to do a sim-racing or a multi-panel workstation in an extended display setup. For the single panel and competitive gamer, this monitor will work exceptionally well. My ... MoreI really like this monitor when considering it's use as a standalone panel. My monitor out of the box came with no dead pixels and very little backlight bleed as it's normal in IPS monitors. I have read users having different experiences regarding this and it has been the case in most MSI monitors up until now. I haven't had such experience with either of my last two monitors from MSI but this is basically a lottery. Newegg has updated its dead pixel policy so I wouldn't be too worried about it as it's an easy return and replacement.

Monitor came in quick fashion. Boxed sturdy, no damage. Monitor was easy to unbox and physical setup a snap. Those instructions were simple and straightforward. Only two VESA screws (out of the 4) supplied are used for the mount, which is sturdy, attractive and does not take up as much space as some reviews lead you to believe. If you don't like it, go for a VESA mount. This monitor was purchased for my Son for school work, hopefully some graphic design/art learning and the ubiquitous heavy game play. This will be replacing the old tried and true HP 2711x that he inherited from me that the power supply went bad. So far, he loves it, thought the WQHD higher resolution took some getting used to. After tweaking with windows and game settings, he is most happy. ... MoreMonitor came in quick fashion. Boxed sturdy, no damage. Monitor was easy to unbox and physical setup a snap. This will be replacing the old tried and true HP 2711x that he inherited from me that the power supply went bad. So far, he loves it, thought the WQHD higher resolution took some getting used to. After tweaking with windows and game settings, he is most happy. Unfortunately, he is still limited by his laptop's GPU, which is a Nvidia GeForce 940MX (2 GB DDR3 discrete) on the HP Pavilion HP 15-au018wm. Does well enough, but far from driving this monitor hard. Planning on getting a longer HMDI cord to hook his XBOX ONE into it, which he plays on a cheap 720P Sharp LCD TV. So that will be a huge improvement. Still have a lot of learning to do with the OSD to setup all of the different modes and feature sets of the profiles. Much more to do than my new Samsung LRU55 that I upgraded to. While the thin bezel looks good (with the monitor off), in reality, it is exactly like my LRU55. Would prefer the bezel trim to conceal the edge and to prevent smudging as you try to adjust the physical screen, in my opinion. To use the portrait mode rotation, one has to either make sure the monitor overhangs what it stands on or you have to give it a slight tilt at full height adjustment to keep from banging it as you rotate. Be mindful of the cords that you have enough slack, freedom of movement and bundled to prevent any issues. The monitor requires a bit of tweaking. I did not count that as a con as I personally prefer a monitor that I can tweak over one that is automatically set, which means you can't change anything. Did not find that my factory settings were oversaturating the colors much out of the box, just immensely bright. Note: This monitor has HDMI pass-thru of the audio for the headphone port. Windows will override you default audio output to the monitor. Just go to Win Audio Control and select your preferred output as default. This is an initial review. Will update (if I can remember).

I use this primarily for work. 27” 4K is ideal so the colors shine through more and are more accurate. It’s also pretty solid for light gaming since it’s G-Sync certified and has a 160Hz refresh rate. But what I really love is the color accuracy and ease of text reading compared to QD-OLEDs. Sometimes on QD-OLEDs theres some chromatic aberration, but there’s no issue for these rapid IPS panels. 4 way adjustability with the monitor is nice too but i just picked up the MSI monitor arm so going to install that once it gets here.

4K UHD! Solid performance with its high refresh rate and low response time. I use it for video editing, the color is pretty accurate. It includes two HDMI 2.1 ports, a DisplayPort 1.4a, and a USB-C port with power delivery, allowing for versatile connection options with modern devices. Over all very satisfying and would recommend.
Simple basic monitor with the perfect ppi for 27”. QHD (1440p) is the way to go if you’re utilizing a 27” monitor. It’s rare to come by a monitor in white as well that’s for gaming. Most gaming monitors are black, and white monitors usually are business ones that don’t have as high specs. The MAG 274QRFW is super solid, i use it as my secondary verticle monitor and have had no issues. Honestly the other review complaining about no included hdmi cable makes 0 sense either, you would think most people use DP cables by now, or have tons of HDMI cables lying around. This monitor has been great thus far and easy to setup. Highly recommended.
Since my old Acer monitor died last week, I was looking for a new monitor and came across this one. My case and peripherals are white so i was looking for a white one, this perfectly meet my needs. 27" QHD with 180Hz refresh rate is more than enough for me. Have been using this monitor for a week now, i am very satisfied with this product overall. The price also justify the user experience it provided. Highly recommended!
This MSI 4K UHD monitor has exceeded my expectations for both gaming and work tasks. The images are sharp, the colors are vibrant, the build quality is wonderful, the panel is flawless, and the impressive 160Hz refresh rate make everything super clear. The contrast ratio is amazing as more details will come alive especially for dark games. It comes with 2x HDMI, 1x DP, and 1x USB Type-C which made connecting to my docking station quick and easy. I've used it pretty extensively over the last week and have seen no signs of flickering, burn in, or edge bleeding. I'm really happy that I purchased this monitor.
Pictures is clear and colors are vibrant!Monitor itself is lite-weight making wall mounting an easier thing to do. The way the configuration/OSD menu works just fine and EZ to adjust. It came with a DP cable since it's beyond 120/144Hz, very nice to have that included; response time is ultra fast, great for gaming and work activities. The most important: it paired up nicely with my white gaming PC.
