MSI Meg Ai1300P PCIE5 1300W ATX Power Supply Unit 80 Plus Platinum...
The MSI MEG Ai1300P PCIE5 provides enough power for your professional gaming setup. This compact power supply is suitable for an ATX case as it takes up 20% less space than its predecessors. With 1300W power, you have enough power for a professional gaming setup. Think of an Intel Core i9 or AMD Ryzen 9 processor with an NVIDIA RTX 4080 or 4090 video card. You always have enough power without one of your components having none this way. The Ai1300P has an 80 Plus Platinum certification, which means that at least 91% of the power output goes to the computer. That way, you components always have enough power and less electricity is lost. The fan automatically goes into passive mode when you perform less demanding tasks and keeps working on the background silently. The noise won't bother you that way.

This is the greatest PSU I have ever had, very silent, it will only turn on the fan when reaching over 55% TDP or over 70 C. ATX 3.0 PCIe 5.0 ready, and it has sleeve cables which helps when doing cable management. If you have a series 4000 graphics card, you can plug just one 12VHPWR cable directly into the PSU.You connect this PSU into an USB port and get access to real-time status of the percentage of PSU top GPU and CPU and the total system wattage used. Is one of the smallest ones for 1300W (160mm-long and 150mm-wide)It's very expensive but the quality pays off and with 10 years warranty, you can't go wrong.

So far this has been a decent power supply, It fitted my requirements specification wise.I cannot tell how noisy it gets under load, not MSI fault but other power supply companies suggested I needed an 850-1000W Power supply, the most I have seen it draw is 300 and normally about 180-200W which means I am only in the high 80's for efficiencyI do like the USB which you can plug into an internal USB header or external one which monitors power draw/temp/efficiency however if you are running Hwinfo this stops pc from going to sleepThe only downside for me was the cables were not connected together in any way after the connectors so keeping them tidy was difficuly

I bought this about a month ago to upgrade my current PSU as I have a 4090 and wanted the new adapter so I wasn't using a pig tail. But this also comes with braided cables as well as the combs. So it looks like I have aftermarket cables and they look nice. The unit as connects to motherboard or can use USB and see the power the unit is using as well. This looks sleek as well. I do feel it's a bit pricy compared to the other PSU units that are ATX 3.0 certified but once you add the custom cables you are cheaper if you wanted black. So it is a good medium.

For the price, I had very high expectations that were not met. MSI Center is amazing software that saved me a lot of hassle in installing drivers for my other MSI products, and it was super cool that I could see an active display of my current wattage use.BUT, the cables on this thing are not OK, specifically the 24-pin motherboard cable. Not only were there too many cables for the comb to accommodate, but they used different gauge wires for many of the cables for it too so it was impossible to make the cables to look nice. It was also disappointing that they sleeved the new 12-pin GPU cable in plastic. The only two cables that show in my build are the 24 pin motherboard and the GPU power cable which both looked bad.I'm an MSI fan-boy, and this was disappointing ... MoreFor the price, I had very high expectations that were not met. Nice unit. There are tacky metal plates on either side that come off very easily, which was a poor design choice by MSI. Doesn't matter in my case, as the PSU hides at the back of the case. I have hooked it up directly to my 4090 and it works well. All the cables are modular and individually sleeved, except for the new 12VHPWR cable, which is a shame.
Purchased this to pair to my Asus Rog 4090. The 600 watt cable is braided and looks solid. Fan noise is pretty good. Able to hit over 500 watts on flight simulator with 100 gpu usage. Everything runs and looks incredible. This psu is def worth the money.
This is a quality item, right down to the cables and connectors. MSI really know how to make an old gamer happy. Im getting a lot of components over the next couple of months before I start to build my dream gaming pc. Looks like i shall choose all MSI products.
Smaller than expected, heavy, it feels quality. it comes with really nice cables, individually sleeved and everything. Working perfectly powering a 7950X on a high end X670E board and a 4090 to boot. Doesn't even break a sweat this thing.
This PSU is absolutely amazing. Running on ATX 3.0 with the new 600w cable for the GPU has been a game changer in my cable management. Since installation my PC has been running cooler than previously (I came from an old corsair RM 1000 which made some noise). The modular cables are great, and they are braided, and you get a lot of extra cables for any needs. If you're looking for the best, this is it, and it should take you well into the future.
My first choice was to purchase the BeQuiet dark power 13. It was out of stock and my choice went on this power supply. I am absolutely not disappointed by my choice. The power supply feels very premium and works very well. The 12VPWR cable to power my 4090 is good and makes the routing of the cable in the case clean. Once correctly connected, this cable works well and not like the burning connectors we have seen on internet. The power supply is quiet under load and I really like the software to monitor live the power consumption as well as temperature of the power supply.Overall it is a great product and I am plenty satisfied with it.
