Bringing the charger with you is something you’re gonna do a lot. Also when you push the computer the fans ramp up very quickly and are very noisy, and your CPU could be at above 90 degrees. The best part in buying in Cyberpower is the warranty they have. Other sites may give you a 1 year or 2 year while here it is a 5 year. Yes, the 5 years is only for workforce for repairing ,but it’s usually what the biggest cost when repairing. It also has an 6month where there is no delivery fee and 1year for parts.

Multi-touch, backlight single zone RGB lighting with anti-ghost key (wish for more RGB features but this is why it's called a "budget" laptop). I am more than satisfied with the keyboard, and I dislike most laptop keyboard, and just keyboards in general. Done? Nope. Throw in a built in 720P HD webcam for those zoom conference calls we love to do in our underwear. Did I mention it is virtual reality ready? If you plan on using virtual reality with this, do yourself a favor and just have an Oculus Quest with Half-Life Alyx in the shopping cart with this. You will thank me, thank MSI, Oculus, Half Life Alyx, but MOST importantly thank YOURSELF later after you immerse yourself in the VR world. Just be careful, once you go in, the real world does not stop spinning. Input/Output; 1 x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C, 2 x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, 1 x USB 2.0. 1 x HDMI (4K @ 60Hz). 1 x RJ-45 (1Gbps) Ethernet port. 1 x Headphone/Microphone Combo Jack. 180-watt AC Adapter to power your 3 cell, 53 Whr Li-Polymer battery. Bonus, the cable is very long, 10 feet, possibly more. All this comes in at about 4.6lbs. I went a little above and beyond here but to be honest this is a beginner review. The length is to do it justice, but I tried to keep it as short as possible for a quick, thorough read of what you are getting. PS, check the picture attached to this review. For one, all those games fit on this PC right out the box, with enough room for your basic PC needs. More importantly they all run at MAX settings, and almost always at least 60FPS, a lot of times more FPS then the 144hz display can dish out. OK, I have to stop here. There is more and there is less I shoulda coulda woulda included, but anyone who wants to know more, probably will do their research on their own.

Basic computing is the absolute minimum that a $1500 computer should easily handle and while it's nice to have a light weight computer, it's a double edged sword since that could also result in an easily broken computer. The graphical performance is where I find myself upset with this build. It should, theoretically, handle ANY game for the next 5 years at max, or at least high, graphical setting and this computer has already failed that on a moderately challenging game. Would I recommend this computer? No and Yes. No, if you pay $1500 like I did, but if you get it at $1200, maybe or $1000, definitely. First gaming laptop in over 15 years.

This is the first gaming laptop I have bought after ditching PC 10 years ago for console. With the lack of good games and MMOs on console currently, I thought it would be a good time to go back into PC. The laptop comes with some very nice hardware for the price range when I purchased it. It works great for playing New World with high graphics settings, but to keep the CPU temperature down I turn cooler booster on while playing. This puts the fans into high speed, which is pretty noisy, but it doesn't bother me too much and it keeps the CPU temp down. Without cooler booster on (using the Auto setting) the CPU temp would hover around 90 deg C, but with it on, the CPU will hover at about 80 deg C. Restarting the program does not seem to fix the issue, only a reboot of the computer seems to fix it. Also, MSI's Dragon Center is not supported for this computer. So far, I am happy with my purchase.

IDK if my battery comes fine because it always shows 94% when plug in and it drains a little fast maybe need some calibration ro something. I´ll recomend this if you wanna a great powerfull laptop and windows 111 update is free but maybe you should wait a little or install the new NVIDIA Drivers after that

This review might not be relevant any more since this particular model is discontinued, but I would imagine my feedback is relevant for future versions of the same line. You're not going to get an RTX3070 in a laptop cheaper than this. At least not from anywhere I would trust purchasing from. Obviously this isn't going to run the same as a 3070 in a desktop because of power limitations, but it still does quite well (no problems running Elden Ring, for example). It generates quite a bit of heat, but that just comes with the territory- the heat isn't problematic, though if you have your hands on the keyboard, I could see it getting uncomfortable, so for more intense usage you probably want external peripherals. But again, that's just what you get with powerful GPUs in laptops.Display looks great, keyboard and trackpad are very good as far as laptops go (no such thing as a truly "good" laptop keyboard, but it gets the job done). The only negative thing I have to say about it is that it's definitely not a great looking machine. Not ugly, just not the prettiest girl at the dance. On the plus side of that, it's definitely rather "stealthy" when it comes to gaming laptops, so I appreciate that.Overall, great product, great price. If you've got a strong use case for laptop gaming and a "big but not huge" budget, this laptop (and presumably its descendants) will serve you very well.

It simply can not withstand 1.7x Resolution, (Oculus Quest 2's Native Res) And will look off when turning quickly.Another few, the SATA port is physically blocked, and only has one hdmi port, meaning you can only use one monitor. The notebook does not have thunderbolt 2 support.Overall, this notebook is powerful, with a few issues, and can be upgraded.4/5 Stars.

I want to start off by saying this is my first laptop. I own a desktop that I upgrade over the years. The reason I bought a laptop is to take with me is to develop video games on Unity or Unreal Engine 5. I take it with me every time I go to my in laws in Fresno. Playing video games like Call of Duty MW2, Escape from Tarkov, and Starcraft 2 is good. I wouldn't recommend to play MW2 on the extreme settings it starts to crap. It loads up all the programs I launch, visually it looks great in video games or youtube videos. I went ahead to add a 4 TB SSD, you can upgrade the RAM and the Battery. It's not difficult to disassemble.Fair warning if you are developing games in Unity Or Unreal Engine 5, it will drain your battery! Compile time is quick. Make sure to have ... MoreI want to start off by saying this is my first laptop. I own a desktop that I upgrade over the years. Make sure to have your it charging while developing. That could be a problem for some people who are laptop enthusiast. I love this laptop but the battery life needs improvement when it comes to working in game engines. Not so much problem when playing video games on it.

This a great laptop that can be used for general purposes, gaming and editing/simulations

This is a great laptop that can be used for gaming, image editing, video processing and also general purposes. In my field we have to run moderately intensive simulations on Matlab/Python, these simulations sometimes needs a GPU. With the specs on this laptop (16 GB quad core ram and 4 GB RTX 3050 GPU) the simulations and the games runs seamlessly. On top of this the 144 Hz refresh rate on the monitor makes high speed gaming very smooth. This laptop is equipped with dual memory (HDD+ SSD) which is very beneficial, the 512 GB NVMe SSD helps me run all my important programs on SSD. Moreover, 1.5 TB of storage comes very handy to store raw photo/video footage and multiple games. On top of this even with these specifications the laptop is not too heavy to carry it ... MoreThis is a great laptop that can be used for gaming, image editing, video processing and also general purposes. The main downside of this product is that the battery life of this laptop is a little short and it runs hot when it is being run on performance mode for a little long. Overall, this is a great laptop that can be used for multiple purposes and I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking to buy a new laptop and requires good processing speed and at a decent rate, especially in this GPU market.
