I liked the better viewing on the new screen. I liked the double sockets for the M.2 hard drive for C drive and one for additional storage. Allows complete and separate devices to keep backups of my clients info in a safe way, and also can be done on site before my flights home. Damage to the laptop by dropping, banging in the plane bins, or inadvertent dropping of the case. Data can be preserved most likely. And Gen 5 and Gen 4 slots make it easy to duplicate all the data in a few minutes before I get where it could be damaged.

Throughout my 1-week use of Ge76, I haven't run into any major glitches. This beast could accomplish any tasks and conquer any games, no kidding! My two months-long wait finally pays off.First, I admit I did run into some blue screen problems. I would say it's more likely a problem with the windows system. It doesn't happen very often and a restart can fix it. It usually happens when I just stupidly change all settings of the game to the highest quality and it crashes. I am a bit disappointed that I can't use the Windows 11 installation tool to upgrade. It got stuck 99% for installation progress for the whole night and I had the same problem with my XPS. Probably Microsoft still needs time to modify the system and I would rather wait for them to notify me of the ... MoreThroughout my 1-week use of Ge76, I haven't run into any major glitches. When I turn off the light at night, it looks gorgeous with my razer devices. The thermal efficiency never bothers me as much as I experience with Dell XPS. I guess as for working at home I would gradually transit from XPS to GE76.

After I received my Raider there was no battery icon nor would it run on battery. Support sent a RMA NE685-0-01. I expected battery disconnected. With tech support permission i removed the back cover and discovered it was unplugged. In addition, the plug was bent. I carefully straightened it out and reinserted. Problem solved. The laptop should of been tested in battery mode prior to shipment. Please cancel my RMA.

I ordered this laptop and It's the best decision I've made. It took a bit of time to deliver but that was only because of a delay with MSI. XoticPC helped me every time I needed an update. It was definitely worth the wait. I couldn't hold my excitement when it finally arrived. This the best laptop I've ever owned and I still can't believe I have it in front of me. Thanks again Xotic, you were the only website that accepted me and gave me the opportunity to finance. I am forever grateful. If you are still deciding, trust me look no further. Insanely great PC's for the prices. In terms of overall quality and pricing, this beats countless other companies offering prebuilt systems.
This laptop is a BEAST!! Plays all my games at max settings! Very thin and light for the amount of performance! Chassis is sleek and has a nice paint job! Screen is gorgeous, keyboard is great and comfortable to game/type on! The fans are a little noisy but not so bad you can't hear... speakers are really good as well! I am very satisfied with this laptop! get one, you won't regret it!
I really have enjoyed my new laptop. Bought it at MicroCenter. Only issue I have is that the battery life says 1-2 hours, that might be true but isn't while running a game. It is more like 20 minutes while I have a game open, so I have ti have it plugged in at all times. Still enjoy my laptop, but wasn't exactly what I was expecting. Also didn't realize when I purchased it, but there is no CD drive. It also runs fairly hot, not overwhelmingly, for all the talk about the large fans. Still would recommend, as it is better than other laptops I've had in the past from other makers - just not entirely what I thought I was getting when talking about it with the salesman.
Got this for my fiancé and she loves it! She plays Ark, Sims, Fortnite, Sea of Thieves, Apex and some CoD. Runs them very well. Its a good quality laptop for sure. You can see reviews stating it's loud bit it's not at all. There's is mode that makes the fans work double time but it's not even loud at all. The screen has great quality. The only problem which isn't a problem (still 5 stars) is the battery life. Very short. Buuuuut I don't mind it and can get a better battery for it etc. It's at a great price and you will not be disappointed in the purchase. Would definitely recommend and I'm actually about to buy another one. (1 week after my 1st purchase)
I bought the ge76 with the 3080 and i7. Im a hardcore gamer and play most games on medium settings and most of the games reach almost 300-360 frames a second. The laptop stays super cool the fans are a bit loud but it's keeps the laptop cool. also play games on ultra settings. The laptop still stays cool gpu stays at 55c and CPU doesn't go above 80c on ultra. And pushes over 100fps easily depending on the game. Don't sleep on this laptop. Good looking laptop to.i also have the grizzly thermal paste
Yes, I named my Raider GE68HX 13VF-049US to Raider-3. I know corny, but so what. This is my third MSI laptop within the Steel Series and my first in the Raider series. I went from the 17" monitor I prefer to a 16" on the Raider. I lose nothing in the smaller size screen due to the sharpness and clarity of the screen. Yes, I love my MSI Raider and it's response. Thank you XoticPc for allowing me to upgrade the base model to what I wanted and needed. Sorry folks, I am not a gamer, but Raider-3 does call out to me to try it. I use it for number crunching and accounting data analysis. I found gaming computers are great for this type of work. Currently my wife is waiting to see how I like my MSI Raider, If I give the thumbs up, she will start pricing one with upgrades ... MoreYes, I named my Raider GE68HX 13VF-049US to Raider-3. Love this laptop so far after a month of use. Number one shock was how sharp and Vivid the UHD screen at 240 MHZ is and gaming I do (Satisfactory. V Rising, Mount and Blade 2, etc) are all running ultra settings smoothly. The only complaint is that a Windows 11 update the Intel Graphics Driver automatically that has a know issue with MSI True Color app which caused screen to look bad. This is known issue which can looked up but requires several clean up steps in order reinstall older Inter Graphics Drivers to get working them correctly again.
