Muc-Off 500 ml Bio Drivetrain Cleaner

Used as instructed on my drivetrain - absolutely no cleaning power whatsoever! Not sure why as other reviews of this product seem to be good. Perhaps I need to use half a bottle for each cleaning session.

Exactly what was advertised. Works perfectly with brushes, especially the muc-off chain tool. I'm impressed with how easily it brakes down the **** I want to get rid of. Will buy again.

Cleans drivetrains.

Bought this product to clean my drivetrain. Used it and it works. Drivetrain is now clean. When it gets dirty, I will use this product again.

Gets all the dirt and grime loose

Cleaned the drivetrain of three bikes using this and works really well with just a few squirts. This one bottle will last a while. Recommend using the claw brush to get in between rings before hosing it down and drying off.The spray nozzle comes attached to the bottle and all were missing so I got a discount. Popped a standard nozzle on from a kitchen cleaner bottle when I got home and it worked fine.

Great Product

I’ve never used a degreaser before so I don’t have any other brands to compare this product with and I also had a voucher to spend so bought the more expensive branded degreaser.All I can say is wow! Cleaned my bike and the applied the degreaser being careful to keep away from my disc brakes and rotor. Left the degreaser on for approximately 5 mins and then scrubbed with the chain brush I got separately then rinsed off and cleaned the bike again. It’s like I have a completely new chain. I’m looking forward to taking it out for a spin now! Would recommend. I painted mine on and you really don’t need a lot.

Muc-Off Biodegradable Drivetrain Chain Ring Cleaner - 500ml

This stuff works great on cleaning the Muc-Off my chain and drivetrain. Also anywhere else that the Muc ends up that you want to remove.

Strong cleaner for the dirtiest drivetrains

Ok, this stuff isn't cheap. But it really does its job and it's biodegradable so not noxious for you, your bike or the environment when you rinse it off. If you've got a really gungy drivetrain this stuff is hard to beat. For a quicker clean of regular dirt and dust, the aerosol Bio Chain Cleaner is just fine.

The goo is gone!

Did a well over due clean of my bikes (gravel bike commuter, full sus mountain bike).Muc-off twin pack used on the rest of the bikes.The Drivetrain cleaner is great, the chain and rear cassette, had dried black in ground oil and dirt caked into all the nooks and crannies. Sprayed the luminous fluid all over the drivetrain and rear wheel, left a couple of minutes then gave it a good scrub with a stiff brush. Sprayed on another coat and left to work it’s magic 5min. Rinsed down the components and hay presto sparking silver links and cogs. Dried all parts and lubricated chain. Shifting is now slick without having to adjust cables. Well pleased.

The only degreaser I’ve found that actually works

The first bike chain degreaser I’ve found that actually works. It gets the chain and other parts really clean. I pour it into a chain cleaning device (e.g. Halfords’s own) and it does a perfect job. For the chainrings and rear cassette I use a stiff brush.

This product is a waste of money

Totally over hyped product..Took chain off bike and immersed it in this product.Even after 10 mins didn't dissolve dry lube. Had to use a tooth brush on each link immersed in this cleaner and then when hosed with fresh water...surprise surprise oil and water don't mix so it just left an oily residue over the chain. So then had to wash chain in a strong detergent to remove the residue, again brushing each link, which might just as well have done in the first place with soap and water and saved a lot of money as its ridiculously expensive and used half the bottle just to clean the chain.If you are a serious daily cyclist, don't bother with this.
