Muc-Off All-Weather Chain Lube

I have a small bike with a none o ring chain and this product covers all weathers and so far has prevented chain noise, wear and rust. definatly less faf than trying to decide what the pennine weather is throwing at me.

Seems top be very good,. The odor smells like strawberry rolling papers. It has super nice spray head with spraying nozzle that can can stored on the lids molded in hangar notjust a cheap piece of tape.

Best Chain lube

This is the best chain lube in my opinion. One of its best features is that it really sticks quick and does not splatter all over your bike. This is way better than chain wax and other products I have used. For sure better than Motul. Biodegradable and they do not test it on animals is also a great thing about mucoff.

Disappointed

Disappointed muc-off was more like muc-on, very messy stuff - my nice colored rims were caked with crap - think last time i used wax, will likely go back to using that...but wont buy this again. Seemed to stick and be gooey everywhere except for the chain LOL

Good Chain Wax-Type Lube

Have been using Maxima Wax for my street and dual-sport bikes for a long time. Off road the Maxima stuff seemed to wash off easily, and get full of grit and be hard to clean off. I'd say this stuff washes off less easily riding off road and cleans up better, too. Has a strawberry scent, which is interesting...

Messy lube with no anti fling properties.

I was unable to find my usual castor chain lube at Halford so I thought I would give this a go as muc off products are usually very good.The lube went on without any fuss. Protected the rear wheel and tyre from over spray and then wiped off any excess lube from the chain. I left the bike for 2 days before my next ride and was dismayed by the mess this lube made to the rear of the machine.The entire rear wheel rim, back tyre, swing arm, chain guard and mudguard were liberally coated on what had become a thick black gunk with the consistency of chewing gum. There are far better lubes out there for a similar price that make far less mess whilst lubricating and protecting your chain your best avoiding this one!

Quick and effective

I have used this product for a long time. I’ve tried most others and find that the Muc Off range is the best for me. Simply spray some of this on even the muckiest of chains, allow it to sit for a minute and then agitate with a chain cleaning brush. I then spray a little more on and then wipe off with a cloth. All I’m left with it a clean chain ready for lubing.

Solid product!

I've used a range of chain lubes over many years of riding and the products get better and better. That's the reason I've not given this an 'excellent' 5 star rating - because products are improving all the time! But this stuff lubes the chain so that it runs noticably smoother - you really can feel the difference. It also sticks to the chain really well in all conditions. I huse my bike for work and it lives outside - rain or shine. It's stickability means the chain is well protected in all weather where other products surprisingly do wash off in rain etc. I did the NE500 which is a tour around Scotland. I lubed my chain before leaving from Brighton, I took spare lube with me. Ok - I did lube it midway through, bit that was because I had the lube with me and like to treat my chain good - but it didn't need it - pretty amazing.

Unrivalled Chain Lube

I purchased this product from Halfords before a 165 mile ride. The lubricant is easy to apply from the aerosol, is drip free and smells pleasantly of bubble gum! After having done a few hundred miles now, the chain is still perfectly lubricated.

Very Premium

I came across this and bought it after being a faithful user of Bel-Ray Super Clean for years. I started using this with a brand new chain (now with 1500 miles on it), and found it to be very nice for many reasons. Its consistency is goopy, almost like slathering your chain with maple syrup if you put it on thick enough, yet it has very little fling off. All chain lubes claim to be no fling formula but all of them fling off a bit, including this one, but very very little. It leaves a clear coating on the chain, not white, and keeps the wet look even after drying. The application sticks around a long time, even during rainy rides down the freeway. I also cleaned the chain at 1,000 miles using kerosene which takes it off with no effort at all. I hit a mile or two of gravel road, very dry and dirty, yet found little dirt stuck on the chain. The price is high, and the can doesn't seem to go to far, I have used what feels like over half the can in 1,500 miles, but it definitely seems like nice stuff. The great scent doesn't hurt either.
