It was very soothing on my skin and and also acted like a moisturizer.
The product is excellent and leaves the skin very soft however there is not a citrus scent as described!

It is easy to open, has a pleasing smell once it dries and the performance is good. I balked at the need for balm though I picked up as a second purchase and glad I did. The scent is not so intense that it clears rooms, it is simple, personal and generous, you only need a little for your entire head and face.
