My kids are 13 and 8 and we still continue to use these. I just updated from the extremely old bright colored ones they had like 10 years ago that’s how long they lasted. I love the suction bottom and different sizes for various snacks. I think I will buy these until adulthood.

Absolute crap. If I hadn’t taken them out of the packaging and read the reviews first I would have saved myself the money. They don’t stick. The “suction” lasts about 30 seconds and then it releases itself, so my son can pick them up and spill everything every where. Definitely do not waste your money.

These bowls hold food, but that’s about it. I microwaved one for less than 15 seconds and there was a distinct odor of burning plastic (they are supposed to be microwave safe). My six month old was able to grab the bowl off her tray and throw her oatmeal across the room, so I’d say the suction isn’t the strongest. Plus the plastic feels greasy no matter how much I scrub it. If I could go back in time, I’d purchase other bowls.

These are a must--HOWEVER. For these to work properly, you cannot have any texture or groove to your high chair tray or table. The suction wouldn't work properly. These work perfectly at my house and Nana's, but not at my in-law's, where their high chair tray it just slightly rough plastic instead of completely smooth. These bowls are fun colors, great varying sizes, and easy for toddlers to carry to a snack area as well. Sometimes I wish the sides of the bowl curved up, or in, or had a little ribbed edge so messy toddlers don't spoon scrambled eggs or oatmeal or applesauce over the edge of the bowl, but it's to be expected as motor skills develop.
I saw this suction bowl online it looks big but when I bought it, it was actually very small. It has 3 sizes but they are quite tiny. As the child eats the food in the biggest size of this set of suction bowl, there are mess of foods all over the table because the bowl is quite small. The design is good but it will be better if the manufacturers of this bowl can make a bigger/ normal size which older kids can equally use comfortably without much mess of food on the floor. The suction does stick but not on every surface like wooden tables. Looking forward to seeing a bigger size of this suction bowl in the future.
The purple is used the most maybe 2-3 times a week for two months and our 8 month old can pull it off the table about 50% of the time. The blue one still works fine, but we only use it about 1x a week. Then there’s the green that I recently realized has never stayed attached to the table for a full meal. So while they’re a fantastic idea and occasionally helpful for teaching self feeding and letting you take a step away from the table I wouldn’t buy these ones again.
Do these bowls always stay put? No. But do they mostly stay put? Yes. I will say that oily and tomato-based foods are difficult to hand wash completely off, but an automatic dishwasher can easily do the job. Also, the sizes may seem small at first, but Munchkin has surely tested these bowls out on toddlers before sending them to production because the portion-sizes are pretty accurate for my 1-year old’s needs!
I really love how sturdy they stay on top of my sons high chair table top, as well as on any other surface I place them on!! He can try to yank it off as hard as he could, and they WONT come off ;-) (phew thank goodness!) I love the gender neutral colors the 3 pk comes in. I’ve always wanted purple without the pink for my son and this was a win win purchase-worth every single penny man!! They’re very easy to clean, I love the little tab they have for adults to induction the suction cupped parts, the suction cups themselves have a very thick layer of rubber so I can tell the quality is good also. Plus the designs are super cute
I love these bowls, I do. They work well and my baby likes them. Of course, any tomato based dishes will leave red residue but that's to be expected. The main thing to know imo is that these bowls work amazing on smooth surfaces. So for me, they don't stick onto my high chair tray (surface not smooth on tray), but they are still good, and unbreakable when tossed (a huge plus)
i bought this for my 8 month old so he can start self feeding. the description says it has a stronger suction and u gotta lift the little tab it has to remove it. was excited to use it opened it rt away rinsed it and put it in his high chair suction lasted about 45 sec maybe a min... tried it again and again even wet it on the bottom and nope very disappointed and a waste of money. i wouldnt buy it if i were u guys just look for another brand cause this one literally sucks
