I've shopped at Beauty Affairs for a few years now without a problem, however last week my package was stolen- at the fault of the courier. I purchased around $200+ of skincare and was completely devastated when it happened, as I didn't think I would be able to get it resent or refunded because it wasn't Beauty Affair’s fault. I contacted them and to my surprise, they immediately offered to resend or refund my purchase, not only that but they included a gift! I have never had such exceptional customer service from any other company in my whole life! Knowing they are a relatively small (compared to Sephora etc) Australian owned brand makes it even more impressive and I'm so happy (even excited) to know my money is going to a company that highly values its customers. ... MoreI've shopped at Beauty Affairs for a few years now without a problem, however last week my package was stolen- at the fault of the courier. I absolutely love this sunscreen! I'm on my second tube of this because I love it so much. It provides great coverage. and is sensitive skin friendly. I have extremely sensitive skin and I'm always cautious trying out new products but this has been great! The product goes on smooth and is so easy to blend it. It doesn't have a sunscreen smell which is plus for me.I'm normally an oily person and haven't noticed feeling anymore oily or greasy. I normally do my skincare routine and this is my last step and I do mascara, blush, and lip gloss and love the glow that it gives my skin. Have also tried makeup over it and it works fine.Overall, I definitely recommend. It's definitely pricey, so that's my only con. I got it on sale and will continue to look for it to go on sale.

Sephora randomly put this sunscreen at 40% off so I snatched it up since it had been sitting on my wishlist for months! I have oily acne prone skin and I am a WOC so using physical sunscreens is usually unsuccessful for me even as someone who is not dark. I’ve been using this for the last two weeks and I am thoroughly impressed with how this sunscreen performs. I like how easily it blends into the skin, you literally get zero white cast and it doesn’t feel heavy as you go about your day. However, the reason why I can’t give it 5 stars is because the full price is outrageous and a little disrespectful because you’re supposed to apply a lot of sunscreen and reapply it daily so why charge $70 for something that is technically a drug for protection!? Also, this sunscreen doesn’t feel heavy on the skin but it is quiteee greasy on me. I wouldn’t say it gets even more greasy when you reapply because it does absorb into the skin, but you are shiny all day. If you have dry skin, it may not be an issue but as someone with oily skin, I think it’s a little too glowy and maybe greasy because sometimes my hair looks oily if it happens to touch my face. I can avoid extreme glow if I just put a serum underneath and use this as a moisturizer. Oh another impressive thing is that I don’t think they claim it to be water resistant, however they’ve done something that allows it to stay on the skin very well. I’m not saying it won’t melt off if you get in water or get sweaty, but it is a bit more heavy duty. This is the first western sunscreen I’ve tried that doesn’t have a whitecast and I like it but the price would keep me from repurchasing.

I do really like this sunscreen! My go-to is Josie Maran's, which many don't like because it's so emollient and it doesn't play well with make-up. But it's perfect for me since I don't wear make-up and my skin is super dry and sometimes irritated from the retin-a products I use. I thought I'd try to find an alternative in case they discontinue it, but was also interested in a tinted SS (but hate the super orangey version from Josie). So, I came across this one while it was on sale, tried it in-store and decided to invest in a bottle. The faint tint doesn't really show up on my skin...it just prevents a white cast that I might get from my JM (which usually fades anyway). And as emollient as many here say that this is, it's actually a little less so than my JM! It ... MoreI do really like this sunscreen! I love the broad spectrumSPF 50 PA++++ and the additional infrared and blue screen protection! I knocked it one star because the full price is outrageous. It's seriously overpriced at almost double my JM for the same size.

I have used the entire bottle and it is definitely a repurchase for me. I have olive skin and have tried loads of sun protection for my face over the years and often the products are too greasy or leave a white cast. This does neither! I have dry to combination skin and this glides on beautifully and was fine even in hot, humid countries. It is also fine under make up with no slippage of foundation. No white cast whatsoever and it is a joy to use as it is thick enough so that it doesn't drip everywhere and gave excellent coverage on very sunny days. The product is fragranced but it didn't grate. Give it a try.

Its pricey but its my absolutely favorite. I love putting it on in the morning. I'm under 30 but ive got dry skin, so i love how moisturizing and "dewy" this sunscreen is. If you have oily skin or dont like the "dewy" look... def dont go for this. Doesnt leave any white cast on me, however i am extremely pale. Main downside is that i have to he very careful about rubbing my eyes during the day. If you accidentally rub this stuff into your eye... it makes itself know. Regardless, 10/10 would recommend to anyone and everyone who can fit it into their budget and loves a dewy face.

As someone who has tried a lot of mineral sunscreens, this is indeed a very good option - especially given that it’s an SPF 50/PA++++!First off, I am so grateful that Murad is disclosing the UVA protection. Within the US, this is optional for companies to do - however I would say it is so important. UVA damage is directly associated with the signs of aging, thus it’s critical to choose a sunscreen with high protection here, yet we can only successfully do this when companies disclose this rating. The tint seems to vanish upon buffing into the skin, but successfully serves its purpose in countering the white cast associated with mineral filters. The packaging is a plastic tube that is the standard size, but a convenient shape for carrying in a handbag. There is no added fragrance, and not much smell in applying this. Immediately upon applying, it does have a bit of a dewy appearance on the skin. I find this fades along with the color of the product in about 10-15 minutes.Overall I am very pleased, and I would recommend this especially for those looking for top tier protection in a thicker formula. Many of the highest rated sunscreens are runny, which can be hard to work with. This is as easy as buffing a foundation into the skin, and wears oh so nicely! Complimentary from Murad Skincare.

I purchased this to get some protection against Blue Light and Infrared Radiation. I’m unaware at which level is protecting me for said purposes but overall I really like this sunscreen. I’m fair skin and the product’s shade blends easily. I acquire a natural look as if had applied a tinted beauty balm. It stays on all day long without smudging/caking. It has a pleasant smell and hasn’t irritated my skin. I’ve had season where my skin has been combination, other times dehydrated and sometime I’ve had inflamed skin. The only negative is that the bottle is very small and since it’s an almost runny liquid it doesn’t last long. Hoping Murad launches a bigger size soon. My every day sunscreen

Ok so listen…I’m not gonna say that I don’t care about SPF rating (which pertain to UVB rays, for those of you who don’t know, that cause sunburn and skin cancer), but as a Fitzpatrick V black woman, I care WAY more about UVA protection, the longer wavelengths of which wreak havoc on the skin (premature aging, immune suppression, and also possibly cancer). The problem is, UVA rating is hard to figure out with most US sunscreens (sorry, but “broad spectrum” just doesn’t do it for me). Since PA++++ is the best we’ve got here, and I’m not feeling our chemical filters, Murad City Skin Age Defense is one of the best options that I’ve found for an every day sunscreen. It feels good on my skin and doesn’t leave a cast, and that’s all that I ask for. Four stars for the price because why is 1.7 oz of sunscreen $70?! But, until I get my hands on some European or Brazilian sunscreens with much better chemical filters, I’ll be rocking with Murad for the foreseeable future.

Havent tried it under a full face but it sits nicely under concealer. While this Murad SPF is sweat and water resistant, like most mineral spfs it is not reapplication-friendly. Dab/pat on carefully to avoid pilling.Definitely heavier than its more elegant Asian counterparts, youre aware something is on your face and ready to wash it off when you get home (kinda feels like wearing a foundation or tinted moisturizer). But sun protection is effective and glow is nice.
