Murad Vita-C Eyes Dark Circle Corrector 15ml

I've shopped at Beauty Affairs for a few years now without a problem, however last week my package was stolen- at the fault of the courier. I purchased around $200+ of skincare and was completely devastated when it happened, as I didn't think I would be able to get it resent or refunded because it wasn't Beauty Affair’s fault. I contacted them and to my surprise, they immediately offered to resend or refund my purchase, not only that but they included a gift! I have never had such exceptional customer service from any other company in my whole life! The best eye cream with the worse dispenser. For the price you pay for this cream, they need a more user friendly dispenser. This eye cream is in a glass container that you cannot see inside. So guess what…your suddenly out and had no idea. You can’t get into the dispenser to get the last remnants out. That 2-3+ days worth of eye cream in there that just gets thrown away. And don’t even get me started on the daily dispensing unit. It’s a push top dispenser that you have to concentrate to lightly tap it do only a little comes out otherwise you get 3 drops (days) worth that you just wash down the sink. Make sure you gave your morning coffee so you can concentrate, but not too much because you do NOT want jittery hands that can push too much!!! This has quickly become my favorite eye treatment. So much so that i bought it for full price at Ulta a week after receiving this sample which is unusual for me. I’ve now been using this for a month and it has made such a difference in my under eye circles. They’re so much brighter and the very slight brightening tint has the added benefit of improving their appearance instantly. My baby crow’s feet have also virtually disappeared. This formula has high quality actives that I adore and a little goes a long way, this bottle will probably last me a year! Highly recommend! Worth the money.

It has got very nice texture, creamy and rich, it absorbs fast into skin, does not leave any greasy/sticky feeling. It feels luxurious and effective when applying. I don’t enjoy the fragrance of this cream, not very appealing however it’s not too strong and harsh. I love that it doesn’t cause any irritation to the eyes and feels light on the skin around eyes. It immediately softens, hydrates and firms skin around eyes however it does not make any difference in dark cycles unfortunately. I would not recommend.

Does not work with my emu oil, smells like bacon

Works well, I have noticed a difference in the shade of purple under my eyes- they have lightened even within the first week of me using it.However, mine smells like bacon which is really odd to me. I also notice if I apply emu oil specifically (have not tried other oils so far), the serum lifts and rolls into little pills and I have to brush them off my face. It does not do this under my eye cream/moisturizer, just the days I layer with emu oil. I think in the future I would use this maybe during the more humid months, and find something that doesn't come off with the oil for dryer seasons where I need the extra moisture.

Great texture and quick to absorb!

I’m impressed with the dark circle corrector. It’s an odd colour which worries me at first but I found the texture of the cream excellent. It absorbs quickly which means you barely have to pat it in at all. It barely has any fragrance which I prefer when using face products. I found after a few weeks I did notice the reduction in puffiness under my eyes in the morning and throughout the day. I’m going to continue to use. The pump system means you don’t use too much so it’s pretty economical and a tube lasts a long time.

Only docking one star because of price

I ran out of this product about a month ago. I think it actually did help with my darker under eye circles a bit (mine aren't related to hyperpigmentation, rather, just being fair complected). I also have eczema and thought this product was moisturizing around the eyes. I recently purchased The Ordinary caffeine serum for my eyes, but that product does nothing for me unlike what the Murad serum has done for me. If anything, it dries my eyes out.The only problem with this product is the price. However, it lasted me about 6 months when I used it every day. Not bad

Seriously Works

I don't know why I didn't try this sooner. When I was in cosmetology school, this was the skin care brand they carried. I always loved the acne line, so I figured I would try out this eye serum. IT SERIOUSLY WORKS. I started using it around late April, and a few weeks ago I was doing my usual routine and noticed I looked so much more youthful. I'm 31, but let's face it, 3 years of living in the pandemic had me looking so stressed and older than how old I actually am. My under eyes are much brighter, and puffiness has definitely gone down. I seriously feel like I'm at least 26 again. I look rested instead of a haggard mess. I use both in the morning and at night. I would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND. I don't see myself using any other eye serum.

I bought this serum over the summer because I have some hyperpigmentation under my eyes. The product advertises that you will be able to see results within 2 weeks. I used it, as directed, in the AM & PM. No progress. I continued to use it for 4 months because I couldn’t justify tossing such an expensive product. Still no difference in my under eyes. The product pills after 30 minutes. I also dislike the tint that the it contains because it misleads you to think that your under eyes are instantly brighter. Once you wash it off, you’ll see they did not change at all. It’s basically like applying a watery concealer under your eyes, with no additional benefits. My skin is not sensitive at all, but I did feel occasional tingling/heat after applying the serum.
