It’s a good book. The reader should know that some French words and phrases are thrown in. It may be more French words than the average person in USA would know. If you’ve had a year of high school French, you shouldn’t need to google anything.

A murder and the solving of it on the world-reknown luxury train.

This book was one of the best murder/mystery stories i have ever read. It was full of twists and turns and new developments within each new chapter. Agatha Christie portrayed Hercule Poirot as a whitty and detailed oriented crime solver and his insights into new details really make you think. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves an excellent murder/mystery.

I had gossbumps while reading this novel! Honestly adored it so much and was in complete awe. I enjoyed watching the mystery unfold and became enchanted by the writing style. This was my first Agatha Christi novel and I know that it won't be my last. Cannot wait to read more from the queen of mystery!

Classic piece of literature. Mrs Christie's mysteries laid the groundwork for the modern cozy mystery and this novel has one of the most classic twists in the genre. This edition is great in both presentation and price. Definitely worth picking up.

Murder On The Orient Express by Agatha ChristieAfter reading this remarkable book, I was astounded at how clever Agatha Christie is at strategizing and clever weaving such a mysterious plot.Agatha Christie knows how to keep the reader in the book at the right momentum. .I also loved the imaginative names created and had a chuckle at, Princess Dragomiroff, Miss Freebody and their were many more. The story starts off as The Orient Express train stops dead in its tracks, by a snowdrift, after which, a murder is committed. Whom-- And why---- As Hercule Poirot investigates..

En route to Paris, Belgian detective Hercule Poirot has booked winter passage on the fabled Orient Express. Among the curious assortment of fellow passengers, one wealthy American holds a unique distinction: He has been found dead of multiple stab wounds in the night compartment of the Calais coach. By dawn, thirteen travelers, each bearing a secret, will find themselves suspect in the most ingenious crime Poirot has ever solved ... Inspired in part by two real-life crimes and the author's own experience of being stranded on the Orient Express during the Christmas of 1931, this tour de force for Poirot fans reveals most explicitly in its surprising denouement Christie's fascinating and uniquely personal moral system of justice-one that is not always relative to the letter of the law.--Page 4 of cover.
