This was a new experience for me. Clear protein. I first saw this product and was intrigued by it. The Industry standard has always been that typical thick shake and depending on the brand many times is just hard to get down. Not MuscleTech ISO WHEY CLEAR! My first expectation was "this is probably going to be weird." Boy was I wrong. ISO WHEY CLEAR is incredible! You thought MuscleTech products were easy to mix and taste great, Now try ISO WHEY CLEAR, it just got even BETTER! It mixed lightning fast and drinks down even faster. I am personally a traditionalist when it comes to supplements, that means for me... it's all about the shakes! But this has me reconsidering everything I ever knew about protein supplementation. The Arctic Cherry Blast was amazing and a nice refreshing change from the typical flavors we are all so used to. 22g of pure Whey for a quick and easily digestible blast of protein is just what your body wants and needs! And for an added surprise, it didn't leave me feeling bloated or over full. I highly recommend everyone to try this great product, especially if they need a change from the typical shake. Hey MuscleTech can you make this in larger bottles because I want MORE!

I have been using this for over a week daily since I received the item. It tastes like a cherry jolly rancher and flavor is really intense. I find it hard to really pound this down like I do with other protein powders. Taste is very strong and artificial tasting and this stuff mixes oddly in water. I find this stuff needs much less water than typical whey and splashes around and almost foams up when mixing with an immersion blender. So it is messy and tastes like you're drinking candy on the downside.Strictly on a results/performance basis this stuff is excellent, my recovery and stamina are excellent. I work out daily for 2+ hours and take this after each session, it helps me heal and maintain muscle. Worth a try for sure based on performance results but the flavor and mess it makes may not be what you're looking for.

Originally I was giving this 4 stars based on poor mixibility, but the taste of this makes up for it beyond what I expected. Despite me adding adequate water and shaking for the recommended time, the top of my bottle was extremely frothy and filled with chunks of protein. I tried letting it sit to see if it would dissipate yet nothing happened. I was slightly bummed until I took a big gulp, expecting to taste nasty chunks of protein. Instead, even the chunks tasted good! I was delightfully surprised. This was subtlety fruity and didn't have that thick, hard-to-swallow texture of other powders. I dare say it was the perfect choice to mix my similar flavored pre-workout. It also blends superbly in fruit smoothies without an overpowering taste or texture. I've used whey isolates before, but never one that supposedly mixed to become clear, or in a fruity flavor! Lemon Berry Blizzard is pretty tasty, although I think the flavor more closely resembles blue raspberry gelatin. Orange Dreamsicle is okay, but the after taste is a little bit chalky and reminded me of a certain children's vitamin featuring Hanna-Barbera cartoon characters (you know the one). _x000d__x000d_The product label claims that it has an anti-foaming agent in it, but it still gets pretty foamy. It'll mix fine if you add water to your blender bottle first and then add the powder to shake. I wouldn't recommend putting this into a glass at home and stirring with a fork or something - you're going to have a bad time if you try. _x000d__x000d_Overall I ... MoreI've used whey isolates before, but never one that supposedly mixed to become clear, or in a fruity flavor! Definitely worth a try!
I am SO happy that I came across this. I love the fruity flavor that taste like juice! AND I love that it's pure whey protein isolate! I have been so tired of the traditional thick/creamy/milky taste of traditional protein powders that it got rough for me to get my extra protein in. I love having this over ice too, it's like a fresh treat. If you get any foam when you shake or mix it, just let it settle, easy peasy :D. This has been a life saver! I hope this never gets discontinued. More people need to know this exists!
First, I love the flavor of this protein. This has a light berry-lemonade-like taste which I enjoyed. Second, it mixes just like a BCAA. When you see how well it mixes and how light it tastes, you will find it hard to believe it is a protein powder at all. When you follow the directions (use the enough water, shake in shaker sup, then let sit for around 60 seconds), it turns into a light, refreshing drink. It is not thick like traditional proteins and mixes very well. There is NO chalky consistency or taste. You do have to make sure you let it sit for a minute after shaking though in order for it to dissolve properly. You can mix it alone with water and drink it that way, or I have mixed it with actually BCAAs and had it intra-workout. I find that it also still keeps ... MoreFirst, I love the flavor of this protein. This has a light berry-lemonade-like taste which I enjoyed. Second, it mixes just like a BCAA. I find that it also still keeps me full after drinking despite the consistency being thinner and lighter than traditional protein shakes. I also love that it is essentially pure protein and still delivers 20+ grams of protein while staying under 100 calories a scoop. All in all, great protein, and I think this will become my go-to protein from now on!
Just bought and tried this for the first time. I got the cherry flavor. It definitely has a weird smell, and the cherry tastes pretty medicine-ish to me. I think if I had gotten the orange, that would’ve been a better choice. I like that it’s low calorie for the amount of protein so it’s still worth buying but I definitely won’t buy the cherry again.
I’m a big fan of clear protein shakes. They are very crushable / easy to drink versus normal protein shakes. If it’s your first time with these (across any brand) don’t be surprised by the foam as it settles quickly.Pros: Whey protein isolate includes some protease and bromelain supplement for absorption and recovery, no artificial colouring ingredientCons: Smells like effervescent vitamin c, doesn’t taste or smell bad but disappointing versus the great juiciness of some other brands, entirely hydrolysed protein would have been better quality
Whenever I first caught wind of this product, I was perplexed; a whey protein blend that is fruit flavored? I am used to fruit flavors for pre-workout, but never for a protein shake. However, I am always eager to try new products and this one is no exception. The first item of note is the viscosity. I am used to thicker protein shakes (I use two scoops of muscletech iso whey and that is a good level of thickness). The viscosity for this is nice and light and, as a result, is easier to quickly drink. The flavor, as well, is nice and light without being overpowering but also without tasting like a watered-down version of each flavor. I mixed two scoops with 20 ounces of water and found that the taste was great. Nutrition wise, one would be hard-pressed to find a better protein in this category. 90 calories for 22 grams of protein is a great trade off and will provide you with plenty of protein without coating a lot caloric or nutritional wise. I prefer to stay lean and continue to slowly add lean muscle mass without bulking or eating an excess of calories, therefore this product is helpful for that goal. This product is ideal for those who want to add protein to their diet without adding a slew of additional carbohydrates, calories, sugar, etc.
I have a love-hate relationship with whey-powder. I know that protein shakes can be very beneficial when you are trying to lose weight and I've tried a lot of different brands and flavours, but I just don't like the taste of it.Very recently however I discovered "clear whey". This is a non-milky kind of protein shake which you can drink as a lemonade. Because I was curious I've deceided to give it a go. The structure of the powder is like powdered sugar. So you have to be careful when you scoop it in your blender bottle. According the instructions you have to add 12 Oz/ 350 ml water and then you shake for 10 seconds. And then you drink it. It tastes very good and very much like cherry-lemonade. So I'm definitely going to buy more of this product in the future. The macro's are also very good. It contains more than 22 grams protein per scoop and less than 1 gram carbs. For me this is very important since I'm on a low-carb diet. I will definitely order more of this product in the future.
