The Zippy jig is a bottom weighted jig for long-distance casting. It is ideal for casting from the shores or boat for targeting schooling pelagics, such as tunas and jacks. The wider profile of the Zippy jig causes it to flutter on the drop, drawing the attention of pelagics patrolling the shoreline. When retrieved quickly, the Zippy skips on the water surface like a disorientated baitfish fleeing for its life. It can also be worked near the bottom of shallow reef systems in a lift and drop presentation to target reef-dwelling species like snappers and groupers.

I really like this jig, it casts far and has good action. Mine's the 40g pink sardine. Price is okay too, compared to others.

I launched it 2 times. So can’t rate it appropriately. Lol. The second cast had the bail arm over as I had consumed a couple of beers and just watched it fly off into the distance.

Just one of many that I have not lost yet, really enjoy jigging and large soft plastics
Very excited to use
Very easy jig to play even if it’s on its heavier side
Good all round lure, strong terminal tackle supplied.
I have both the 40g and 60g in pink sardine color, the paint has almost completely peeled off on the older 40g, and now starting to peel off on the very new 60g that I've only used twice. It's a shame, this is a really nice jig, but it needed a protective coating on the paint. Dropped down to 2 stars only.
Very good long casting lure. So good that it is now in a tree. That's all I've got say about that.
