This product is great for dry skin in areas like arms, knees, feet, and legs when dry enough to call for it. For points in its favor, it is very moisturizing and gentle on the my sensitive and eczema prone skin. In this dry winter weather, it’s been great. However, it’s greasy. It is more like Aquaphor in that it may absorb, but not any time soon. It’s thinner than expected, for the powerhouse claims. I’d say the consistency is like an Olay moisturizer rather than a La Roche-Posay Lipkar AP+ Triple Repair cream. But like that same LRP moisturizer, it has a funky smell: flour tortillas. It’s been hard to get by the combination of the feel and smell, so for the winter, I’ll only be using it on my feet.

I received the Mustela Stelatopia + Lipid Replenishing cream free to test and review. My son and I suffer from eczema and is typically really bad in the Winter time so this was a great product to test for our family. The cream is very light with consistency like a sunscreen. There is no scent to the cream and no oily feeling afterwards. My son gets it really bad behind his ears where they crack and bleed and my son advised it doesn’t irritate or burn. My husband however did feel that it burned a little bit for him but eventually the feeling went away. I do notice smooth feeling skin immediately after application. Unfortunately this did not clear up the eczema but did sooth the skin. This is a great product to add to our arsenal.

I want to start by saying I have normal, non sensitive skin and so does my 2 year old. We both have eczema but not on the face.I brought this product with me to Sapporo, Japan during winter where the warmest day was 0 degrees.Both my toddler and I used only this for our face and body and it absolutely saved us! My little one has been experiencing some dry and eczema patches on her skin since the temperature has dropped, so trialing this new Mustela Stelatopia+ Lipid-Replenishing Cream came at the perfect time. The fragrance-free lotion is lightweight, yet really hydrates and moisturises the skin like a thick cream would. Minimises the need to use steroid cream. Instantly makes the skin feel soft and supple. I highly recommend it to all the eczema sufferers out there. We used this product over the space of three weeks and noticed drastically improved results on both my son and myself. Our skin was less dry and flaky, i found myself scratching less and was not using my usual moisturiser, was using this product as a replacement of our usual moisturiser. I will definitely be buying this product again for future use! I only just wish that this product was on the market earlier on so I didnt use as much steroid cream on my body. Perfect for all over body usage and for baby skin too.

We tried Stelatopia+ Lipid replenishing cream for 3 weeks consistently everyday and found this product superior to other eczema friendly baby moisturising creams we've tried in the past. We have previously used another Mustela Stelatopia emollient cream and found this Stelatopia+ Lipid replenishing cream even thicker than the Mustela Stelatopia emollient cream. This product is hydrating, soothing and fragrant free. My 5 year old son has dry bumpy skin over his whole body and extremely red swollen patches in his inner elbows and backs of his knees, this cream brought most of his body back to a feeling of normal skin and drastically reduced the need for his steroid cream. It goes on smoothly without being overly thick or greasy and soaks into his skin beautifully. Although the tube is small if needed for large areas, it does spread well and goes a long way.
