My Arcade Retro Galaga Micro Player

Love this. It is a good size, not too small or too big to use comfortably. The graphics are good and you can turn the sound off when you want. Great way to relive the arcade days,

A Technicolor Challenge.

This is a nice colourful version of the original Galaga space game. For a great value price, some reviewers have complained about the shooting sound of the spaceship. For me this is such a minor complaint, this game is so exciting to play, with many different levels which make it challenging and unpredictable to play, but so much fun.

Broken

Its broken. Doesnt work. Im shipping it to the manufacturer. Since no cvs on cape cod has another one for me to test if it works.

Fun Retro Game

Loved this game in the early 80's and this is basically the same game as far as I remember. I've see other reviewers mention sound problems, but I didn't see that. The cabinet seems to have the representative graphics from the time period and controls are responsive and seem solid. Only complaint is that it seems to be setup for 1 player, you can't pick 2 player games. Also high score seems to default to 30000 points every time you turn it on. End of the day its amazing that galaga was this massive game in the 80's weighing (I'm guessing) over couple hundred pounds to pretty much the same game only 6"'s tall! Lots of fun

This little guy is great to stuff in your pocket and take along. Very entertaining and will keep you busy during your lunch break, a ride on the bus or train and in the doctors office. Although the screen is small it is still visible and you get used to the controls very quickly. This is an excellent gift for kids and parents who enjoyed the original classic in the arcade like i did. The colors are great but the sounds are very basic but i mainly play it in silent mode because im never home.

Mini Galaga worth checking out!

It's durable if you don't abuse it. I'm happy with it, no real complaints so far, though the audio sometimes isn't perfect. The on/off power button, you have to HOLD IT for a few seconds before it turns on and off. Other than those two minor things, it's a great blast from the past.

Fun, good deal with cvs card. Game itself works as should. Would be better with infinite lives, but still enjoyable

Pac Man

Awesome game and at a great price! Just like the arcade game with the graphics, except you can't keep a running high score. Everything else is pretty much the same. A++++

Very disappointed!!

Very disappointed in MyArcade for this one. The sound is awful!!! The sound breaks up when your ship shoots repeatedly. Check out the review videos online. What could have been the best one in the lot turned out to be unplayable due to the distracting sound quality. I bought two copies thinking I got a bum unit, but they were both the same. Very disappointed. :(

Write down Your High Scores

Galaga was my favorite arcade game when I was a teen. After playing a disappointing app version (alleged version) of the game, I was determined to get a true version. So, when I saw a micro player of the game, I decided to gift it to myself for Christmas. I think the Galaga micro player is much more fun than any app could be. I love the graphics and have not had the audio issue that another reviewer mentioned. The screen size is okay but makes me want to save up for the full size arcade game. The joystick and fire button are not as responsive as I would have liked, which has led to missed shots and collisions. I would have rated the player 4 stars if the joystick and firing button were the only problems. I'm enjoying the nostalgia but missing the satisfaction of seeing my high score displayed on start-up and trying to beat that high score. That said, the price was good and I'm reliving some old memories. So, I'm fine with lack of memory.
