would only buy at special price like everyone else as its never worth anywhere near $1000? Took it back after 1.5 weeks as it was pretty hopeless? Would get stuck on furniture when its supposed to turn it self around and keep cleaning. It did pickup some dust but some brushes got all stuck together! Advertising on website was misleading as the size of dust holder and water holder were double what was actually on the box? You need to spend good money to get a good Robot cleaner?
Bought this on sale, and had reasonable expectations of it given the price. However, so far I'm so pleased! We have an open plan living, dining and kitchen with hard wood floors and 1 x large rug. This vacuum goes everywhere within this space and picks up a lot of dirt, more than I was expecting! It has a hard time picking up small stones which are heavier, but all in all great value for money! I've not tried the mop function yet. This wee guy does our entire space, of around 45m2 and then takes himself home to the dock for recharging no problems. No hesitations recommending. Only giving 4 x stars, as it's not perfect, but more than adequate for our needs.
It might be ok if you live in a very small apartment or tiny house and have hard floors, otherwise useless. The Battery didn't even last long enough to vacuum the entire lounge (which isn't big by any means), and only did about a 75% job of picking stuff up. I watched it repeatably go over cat fur and not suck it up. I can vacuum the entire house and do a 100% job in les time than this took to try and vacuum the lounge. If you still want one, there will be one (hardly used) going even cheaper for sale on TradeMe :).
