Started using creatine from my protein a month ago, for the first week I loaded it with 20g a day, I then carried on using 5g a day after that. Ive noticed a big change in my work out ive started to put on some serious muscle due to creatine allowing me to do more reps. it tastes kind of like salt but no chemical after taste. ive been having it straight with water but have mixed with other liquids. works perfect but I do find even after mixing you do get a gritty feeling in your mouth. its become effective I use it every day and can't fault it. other creatine supplements ive used have always given me stomach cramps. this how ever is perfect for me. Goes Well With: 0water, protein shakes, juice (grape or cranberry being my favourite).

I heard about Creatine and damage to kidneys or at least its use and the link to higher levels of Creatinine. My recent blood tests have shown that after using this for 2 months, I have elevated levels of Creatinine and doctors have flagged it as a matter of concern. ! Serum urea level 10.3 mmol/L (should remain between these levels 2.50 - 7.80mmol/L) It's 30% more than upper limit ! Serum creatinine 110 umol/L (should remain between these levels 64.00 - 104.00umol/L) Out of normal levels. I will stop taking Creatine Monohydrate and then test again next month. I'm 45 and normal healthy levels. Creatine Monohydrate is one of the best form of creatine on the market and for the affordable price MP have it on for its a no brainer. I have purchased both the unflavored and berry flavour but yet to try the flavored one. The unflavored is good for mixing or just throwing straight into mouth and washing down with some water. So far been laoding for around 4 or 5 days and can see muscles especially my arms starting to look more fuller. Still got some time yet before seeing stronger results but so far very pleased. Cheapest Creatine I could find and definitely doesn't sacrifice quality. Even comes with a mini scoop that measure both 3g and 5g which I found very useful.

MyProtein Creatine Monohydrate is a good product for those who want to enhance their athletic performance. As an athlete, I am always looking for ways to improve my strength and endurance, and this product has definitely helped me with that. The powder dissolves easily in water and has no taste making it easy drink. I've noticed an increase in my energy levels during my workouts, and I feel less fatigued afterwards. However, it's important to note that adequate hydration is key when taking creatine. I make sure to drink plenty of water throughout the day to ensure I'm properly hydrated. I take double the dose as recommended on the Huberman Lab podcast for people over a certain weight and believe I am seeing good results. This is a great version of Creatine. I've always been a good responder to Creatine, but about a year ago I bought some cheap Monohydrate tablets from a well-know high street bargain store. At first, they were fine, but after a week or two I started getting a lower/mid backache. Nothing else had changed in my diet apart from those, so I stopped taking them for a while and then started again: same backache as before. I checked the ingredients, and it was full of rubbish filler, and I also wonder how pure the product was, or even if it was contaminated. It kind of put me off Creatine for a while until more recently. I ordered the Creapure from MP and know I'm getting a pure product with nothing added. It kind of put me off Creatine for a while until more recently. I ordered the Creapure from MP and know I'm getting a pure product with nothing added. I also get all the same benefits as I originally did with Creatine: strength increase, endurance/stamina increase, additional physical energy, and I get some mental energy from it also - so some Nootropic effects there also. Mixability seems fine - although I just add it to a small glass, swish it around a bit and down it in one about 30 minutes before the gym. It doesn't really taste of much. I have never tried MPs regular Mono Creatine so can't compare it with that. Everyone's different, but I just know this works for me Goes Well With: Any form of exercise and protein
To start, you need to understand that creatine is not a steroid. It's not going to give you steroid-like gains in size or strength. First-time users and beginners need to taper their expectations. You need to load creatine. This can be done quickly (20g/day for a week), slowly (5g/day forever), or anywhere in-between. After loading, you'll start to notice subtle gains. Your muscles will looks fuller/thicker instead of just "larger". You'll have slightly faster strength gains than before. Most importantly, it'll help you recover between sets much quicker. For a heavy set of 3, you might only need to wait 2-3 minutes instead of 3-4 minutes. That's what creatine is. For a heavy set of 3, you might only need to wait 2-3 minutes instead of 3-4 minutes. That's what creatine is. As an overly simplified summary, creatine monophosphate is a quicker way of producing ATP than what your body and your cells can do by breaking down carbs, fats, and proteins. Creatine is an ATP shortcut - a shortcut for your muscles to produce energy. That's why you get a little stronger and have more endurance. It's bland. It's a bit chalky. But hey, it mixes well and it works. Also, you only need about 0.03-0.05g per kg of body weight (0.014-0.023g per pound of body weight). This means that if you weigh 220lb, you'll need about 5g/day AT MOST. If you weigh less, you'll need less creatine. There's only a certain amount your body can hold on to. Goes Well With: Anything
I’ve been taking MyProtein Creatine Monohydrate now for around 6 months I think. I’ve always been cautious of any supplements when it comes to working out. But upon doing my research I realised there is very little risk providing you’re healthy and drink plenty of fluids. The benefits I’ve had from taking this supplement have been phenomenal. It’s massively pushed my muscle development in recent months. It’s easy to take with no break in your daily routines. Only thing I would suggest is if you’re Type 1 Diabetic like myself, stick to the non-flavoured variants. I noticed the flavoured options have a much greater effect on my sugar levels. Not a negative just something to bare in mind. Goes Well With: It’s easy enough to take with water but I find with a bit of ... MoreI’ve been taking MyProtein Creatine Monohydrate now for around 6 months I think. The tasteless powder is great for mixing with water. Only been using the product for about a month so hopefully the best results are coming but even now I’ve been feeling a slight increase in endurance and muscle performance. Instructions are clear and easy. I do wish MyProtein provided some certified source reading on creatine (a link to articles explaining what it is / how it should be used / things to look out for?). You can do your own reading but would be cool if they took more responsibility in that. Goes Well With: I’ve been taking it straight with water. I usually do 8oz of water with the creatine accompanied by a meal and followed by a protein shake. I recommend taking it with food.
A great Protein powder that is probably your cheapest option out there. This powder is third-party tested and ranks in the top 3. I like the Mocha flavour but have been using strawberry cream for anabolic ice cream. The protein powder mixes really well with anything (I like water or nut milk). Here is an anabolic recipe that you can try! Remember, you can always substitute the ingredients and experiment with the liquids + ice for your prefered consistency for ice cream! I like to add bout 2mL to my baked recipes or anabolic ice cream.
