I absolutely love nail-aid products. I have used other types before and they have all been great. This has become my favorite. It works wonderfully for my nails. I am pretty rough on my nails, so they need extra help and this truly works to strengthen them. My nails have never looked better. Nail-aid also works well as a top coat, leaves a nice shine. It smells good. It uses cleaner ingredients. It is reasonably priced. It dries quickly. I have absolutely no negatives, I truly love everything about this product, couldn't recommend it enough.

I stopped painting my nails years ago, because they would always chip within a day, and I've tried a bunch of base/top coats. My nails tend to rip easily, so I was looking for something to help strengthen them, and I just randomly picked this up at Walmart. I first used this on plain nails as a clear top coat, and I noticed that it was protecting my nails from breaking! If my nails started to rip in the corners I'd put a few coats on and it would protect the nail from ripping further. But the BEST thing about this polish? It makes my nailpolish last AT LEAST week without chipping!!! 100% worth it and works!

My nails were very fragile even if i put 2-4 layers of nail polish. I was in search of a nail strengthening polish and saw that many people were recommending to but the opi nail strengthener. I came across this nail polish when i was looking for the opi and decided to but it since it was a strengthening polish and it was at a lower value too! I can honestly say that using it the first time, my nails were no longer fragile and chipping as fast and i followed the directions of putting it every three days. I am completely satisfied with this nail polish and suggest others to get it too.

Don't use as top coat. it peels the same day.

I did what the product instructions say, which is that you can use this as a base coat as well as a top coat. But by a couple of hours after using as a top coat, the nail-aid started the peel off from the tip of my nails. So I wouldn't use this as a top coat.Also, the instructions say 2 coats for the base. Sally Hansen only requires one coat of the base coat, and then they have a separate top coat that so far is much, much better. Hard as Nails by Sally Hansen are both much better products than this.

Excellent for my nails

This is amazing for my nails. It makes them very strong and healthy. Beautiful natural shine if worn alone. I use it as a primer and cover when I color my nails and it 100% avoids chipping. Totally recommend! Got one for my sister too because of the great results I got from it.

Made nails worse!!!

This started chipping almost immediately. The nail looked worse than before I used it. They were weaker and split way more. Did not come off easy with acetone remover. After I finally got it off. My nails are really dull looking. Also they are rough feeling. Don't use this stuff you'll be worse off than you started!! I still haven't got my refund. Which is ridiculous. I paid for it instantly. I should get my money back instantly. Especially when it caused me more problems than I had!! Save your self the headache.

Nail Aid Products are Excellent!

I currently have the following Nail-Aid products: Biotin Ultimate Strength, 10 Quick Salon Nail Hacks, 1 Minute Artificials, and Iron Shiel Top Coat. I have used all of them on my nails, most recently I used all of them as my manicure. These products are inexpensive, and you can find them at Walmart and Amazon (amongst others). These products make your nails very strong, and protect them successfully from breaking. I have not had any breakage since I started using them. Previously I used a different nail hardener, but had breakage with that one. I highly recommend this product to everyone, but especially those who have weaker nails and breakage. Try these out. You will be pleasantly surprised at the strength of your nails, even after just one use.

Repairs Damaged Nails

This stuff works. Repairs my nails after gel or dip manicures. I like to let my natural nails recover for a few weeks after couple months of gel manis. This product applies easily, dries pretty fast, has nice shine alone or use as a polish base. Great value for the price

So far no changes in my nails! Still breaking!

I had high hopes for this to work on my nails but sadly it has failed to do the job. When I first tried it it seemed to be great but after a few weeks of using it my nails are not any harder and I've broken every one except the left thumb nail in which that one is hard and long. Not sure how long it actually takes to start seeing consistent results so ill update my review after I've used the whole bottle.

seems to be a tiny bet helpful.

seems to dry very fast, which is great. do note after a few days it peels of course with daily use. have to take off with remover and start over. two or three coats works well for a few days. so far, doesn't seem to be strengthening my extremely thin nails which crack, chip, peel layers. but might be helping. have to keep cut short still.
