Not sure if I like it..it has a slight white cast on my complexion. Anyone darker than me will definitely have a white cast. It feels greasy but, doesn’t leave a greasy look. This SPF primer does exactly what it claims to do. It is thick and goes on thick, but feels lightweight. It has a bit of a stick to it, just barely, but it’s a primer so that’s good. It goes on really well under my makeup and lasts all day. It has a nice natural matte finish and is any greasy at all. I don’t think it’s particularly hydrating, but I have oily skin and am consistent about using moisturizer since I use tretinoin every night. If you have dry skin, it might not work super well for you but idk. I was wanting to find a product that combined two steps - moisturizer & SPF or primer & SPF - and this is an amazing option. I hate spending more than $10 on makeup, but this is worth the price tag for almost 2 oz and knocking out two jobs.

It's still thick and a nightmare to apply, and it doesn't look good on my skin. It feels all clammy and uncomfortable, and putting it under makeup is just not possible if you use minimal or sheer products. Some people say to add it to your foundation, but to get proper sunscreen coverage (which is actually quite a bit) would make the mixture unwieldy to apply, or just pull the colour out of the foundation. This is a hard no for me, and I can't for the life of me understand why anyone, particularly at my age with drying menopausal skin, would want to drag this stuff across their face. I bought this suncream about 3 weeks. It's fine for daily wear while you're in the office for 9 hrs. However, I wore it to the beach (the same way I wear any other face zinc - I've always worn on my face, neck & dec). I came home burnt on my face, neck and dec - the only places I had worn this product. My entire body was fine, not even a dash of a pink hue wearing Le Tan SPF 15+.I was surprised and thought maybe it didn't stay on in the seawater (useless), but I was now having serious doubts about the product and thinking it may just have really good marketing like Bondi Boost products that ruin your hair.I went to the beach again yesterday. There is nothing i hate about this sunscreen. There are certain basic criterias that not everyone understands. Sunscreen had to stay put on your skin for protection, not like a foundation or blush can fade away. Sunscreen for female need to protect against almost all spectrum of uva and uvb. Sunscreen is better if it doesnt deactivate within a short few hours. Those criteria cannot be achieved while making everyone happy about their texture prefence. This sunscreen works on both oily and dry skin and works well with makeup but does not requires it. Thats a perfect sunscreen and that would be this one. If your priority is meetin your set of texture criterias then happy hunting and dont leave a silly review to confuse everyone because you havent done the research.
I had a few samples of this, and I didn’t like it at first. It was too thick and greasy. I tried different ways of applying and decided to give it another try, and now I really like it. I find that when I’m applying my ‘layers’ in the morning, I need to allow each one time to absorb. It makes a huge difference. The product is lightly tinted and leaves me with a healthy looking glow. I apply a small amount of moisturiser, then the sunscreen, then my eyes, cheeks, lips etc, and that’s all. Nice fresh and easy summer look. I use the spray sunscreen during the day if I need to. Extremely happy, and I’ll continue to repurchase.
The product description is vague maybe on purpose because it says it's designed to be worn under makeup; but it also says it has a translucent finish which made me expect there'd be no white cast on me (I saw the photo shows it's tinted). That's a tall order for a mineral sunscreen. But for me it was not translucent and left some white cast. My skin tone is light-medium (I generally stay out of the sun). I tried applying my tinted moisturizer on top, and it seemed to help at first but as it all settled into my skin the white cast showed again. I can tell it is a quality product and better than other mineral face sunscreens and feels pretty good on. Still leaves a shine and it feels like you're wearing sunscreen. This product really disappointed me.The first and worst thing is that it made my eyes sting. I wasn’t sure if was the sunscreen at first so a week later I used it again and the stinging returned.I gave it to my daughter to try and the same thing happened to her.I’ve tried so many modern formula facial sunscreens and I have not had this happen before. I’m also careful to not put it too close to my eyes, it just seems to maybe move on your face during the day and ends up in your eyes.The consistency was also a let down it left me feeling oily and it’s super thick to apply. Sure you could use a brush, but I don’t really want the hassle of using a brush to apply sunscreen.I’m not sure how so many people love this product.
I can only wear 100% mineral sunscreens due to sensitivity. I've tried so many ones for my face: hero cosmetics, tower28, Australian gold, bliss blockstar, babo botanicals, blue lizard.This is by far the best!!It comes out of the tube thickkk and sticky, but it works into the skin well. It needs a few minutes to dry down. I do have combo leaning dry skin, not sure how it would feel on someone very oily.Once it is dried, it works great under makeup or just on it's own! It makes the skin sort of "blurred" so I've been wearing just this and some concealer on hot days, and my skin looks great.It is beyond rare to find a mineral sunscreen with no whitecast, that is SPF 50, and water resistant. Checks all my boxes and I will never buy another brand!!
