I believe this may be the best value for the money right now. Yes it has a fan but it doesn't bother me in an interview situation. The fact that all you need is one power cord to turn on is great. No big ballast/controller to mount on a stand. The quality of the light is great. If you can't afford the Forza series this is the next best thing. I did a side by side with my Intellytech 485. The Nanette looks much brighter.

I picked this up in anticipation of a gig that I knew would have terrible mixed lighting conditions and this honestly saved the day. Good power, build feels good. I appreciate its simplicity and the inclusion of an umbrella mount!

This light is an incredible powerhouse for an affordable price. With the ability to accommodate a range of accessories, this light provides a powerful lighting solution that won't break the bank. Making it a perfect option for content creators and budget productions. It is noisy, but not unbearable. And given how bright this thing is, you really shouldn't have any reason to be setting your camera or audio capture gear near the light in a way that it would cause the noise to be picked up in your recording. Also the noise is consistent, so you don't have to worry about throttling issues as you record. I also purchased the nanlite fresnel and also have a deep umbrella that I use for reflective bounce making this a super versatile option to achieve hard light or soft ... MoreThis light is an incredible powerhouse for an affordable price. Great light at a great price .
The power and brightness was a lot better than what I was expecting
Nanlite thank you.. B and h thank you
I can't believe how cheap a 300w bicolor LED is from a legit lighting brand when aputures version is $2k. Unreal. I will gladly lose the DMX and v-mount battery power capabilities. Can't wait for Nanlite to make an affordable 600 led.
