I use it mainly as a back-light for video conferences during workdays - and that is worth it. And outside of office hours they can be just a fancy colourful back-light. And with IFTTT integration it's relatively easy to set up things like wake-up light of auto-off when you go to sleep. With that being said, we've almost stopped using room's main light now Β―\_(γ)_/Β―

Yes I know they aren't cheap, but you are paying for a premium product that is recognised and trusted around the world. The features are smart and well integrated compared to the previous version which needed add-on attachments. The installation was easy and you can always re-install with normal 3M tapes since the panels are pretty light weight. It's great as an accent light but also very functional as a reading or night light. Awesome product from an even more awsomer store!

The salesperson at Synced was extremely helpful. He explained to me about all three different Nanoleaf products and even gave me measurements for each to see which one will be suited for my wall. He then brought out a measuring tape to assist me to chose the number of hexagons needed. The buying process was smooth on the website. As for the product, I simply love it. Having Lifx, Philips Hue and now Nanoleaf, I can say that Nanoleaf brings our better pastel colours and it creates a very welcoming ambience :)

These lights are great to look at but you need to keep WiFi on 2G and be close to your router for them to stay connected. My office is upstairs far from my router so the WiFi is weak, the initial setup of the lights worked but connectivity is so sketchy and random after that I barely bothered to even turn them on. They are back in the box in a cupboard now and unfortunately I canβt return them as itβs been too long. Best not to waste your time and money unless you are going to locate them right beside your router and donβt mind being on 2G.
The lights themselves are easy to install and the was surprised with just how bright they can be. We don't have them any brighter than 50% which it more than bright enough to light up the room in the evening/night.The app is a bit clunky and can take a bit to connect to the WiFi each time you load the app. I find it easier once everything was set up just to use the Google Home app for basic controls and Automation
Fantastic piece of technology making your gaming room or feature wall pop, great brightness. Amazing with music.Unfortunately the software and connection issues are terrible which let this amazing product down.
