I seem to buy a grill every few years. Not because I abuse it or keep it clean. More to the fact that the metal is thin. Burners seem small and just don’t perform. The quality and warranty are much better. This grill is replacing my last grill because the heat tents over the burners have shrunk from usage. They are no longer under warranty, and on back order. No need to spend the money that is just a few months over a year old. The grates are starting to split now. Happy I made this purchase.

Grill looks great put together (besides dented side panel) but it was a pain to do. I’m a union electrician and am used to putting equipment together and this wasn’t a great experience. Hardware and parts all come together separated and not well marked. It should have all hardware in the same package with an easy to follow marking system to verify you have all the parts needed. It doesn’t. Followed the instructions on the app and on step #35 it called for a plastic grommet to secure the gas hose. Couldn’t locate it because it was under the lid to the side piece that didn’t get put on until after that. Maybe I’m too picky but for a grill that cost over $1K I think I expected better. Time will tell if this holds up or not.

Not only is the Napoleon Rogue XT 625 SIB an incredible grill, but it also holds a special place in my heart because of the cherished tradition it carries. My Dad was a self-proclaimed grilling aficionado, and he always insisted on using Napoleon grills for all our family gatherings. Those were some of the most memorable moments of my childhood, watching him skillfully cook up delicious meals and bonding with loved ones around the grill. Now, as I embark on my own grilling journey, I am overjoyed to continue the tradition with the XT 625 SIB. It's like having a piece of my father's legacy right there with me. The fact that this grill is an upgrade with its fantastic features and top-notch performance makes it even more special.I can't help but feel a warm sense ... MoreNot only is the Napoleon Rogue XT 625 SIB an incredible grill, but it also holds a special place in my heart because of the cherished tradition it carries. I've always dreamed of having a Napoleon BBQ and it didn't disappoint. The preheating is fast. The quality of the burners shines through as it cooks evenly on the whole surface. The temperature control is magnificent making sure nothing will burn. That been said, with some much control, you can perfectly executed a reverse sear and finish it off on the infrared grill. That little grill will revolutionize your experience and capabilities.
Big grill. Plenty of space. Gets HOT fast! Cooks great. Four stars because cabinet is a bit cheap and doesn’t compare to the rest of the grill. Feels like cabinet won’t last, but time will tell. Also, big gap in the back, presumably for ventilation, but almost looks like it’s missing a piece. Would have paid a little more for a better cabinet.
I'd say around 4.5 stars. I've cooked on it a few times now. And I really do like it. The heat is even, especially given it has two layers of heat spreaders. I love how the lid opens much more fully than my old grill, allowing an overhead light to fully illuminate the grilling surface. The side burner is great for searing. I haven't yet tried using a pot or pan on it but am told and have seen in reviews that it works as expected. My only quibbles are:- The burners don't always light on the first try. With a push button ignition you just hold it longer. With the "auto" ignition as you turn the knob you have turn it back and forth a few times when this happens.- The floor of the cabinet has a large for a propane tank even in the natural gas version. I'm sure this is to save money/avoid unique parts. But I would have wanted that hole gone to allow placing small things there. It's a bit of wasted space as is.- The bilt app instructions, though way better than a manual, don't tell you where to find the pieces; simple change that could have really sped up assembly.
As an experienced chef and avid griller my review is as much about the of current state of grill manufacturing rather than a direct critique of the Rogue. I find that the flavor bars those gap bars on grills diminish the cooking power of the grills, extend preheating time, and "soft spots" that effecteven cooking and in the end make me feel like it was an innovative way for the manufacture of this type of product to reduce cost. In addition the use of plastic and alternative metals other than stainless steel has cheapened BBQ's grills in this price range, I believe that this price should buy one a superior grill and while this is a better and perhaps larger grill than a grill in the next lower tier I believe this grill and other grills in this price range have been ... MoreAs an experienced chef and avid griller my review is as much about the of current state of grill manufacturing rather than a direct critique of the Rogue. Grills in this price range are no longer high quality, high performance grills. What was produced 10 years ago made entirely of stainless with 5 -6 working burners was far superior than the grills currently being manufactured. I chose the Napoleon firstly because the did not want the popular competitor for the exact reasons I have stated and have ended up with a grill with a somewhat longer warranty (to be determined how that turns out) but the same characteristics. I do like the BTU output on the Napoleon side sear station verses the stove top ring but have yet to boil or sauté anything over it. I tried the smoker box and got the weak results, I did not buy the grill to use it as a smoker so that's OK. I do like the Napoleon cover I bought for the grill it repels water beautifully. Some of the accessories offered on the web page like the grill cages look functional and I will likely try one.
Old enough to be tired of replacing gas grills every 4-5 years. This summer I needed to replace, again, and decided to check out the Napoleon line up. Have used mine weekly for 4 months now. Rotisserie, infrared side burner, regular grilling all perform better than expected. Have cleaned out several times and the engineering that went into making these owner friendly is astounding. Great products!
So far so good. Have used this grill for 2 months now and have enjoyed the grilling experience. Only complaints would be the burners . . . they seem to be burning inefficiently as I have more orange flames than the blue stated in the manual. Checked the usual items mentioned in the troubleshooting guide but still get the orange flames. The manual states I have to get an authorized gas technician to adjust these . . . don't think I should have to do that on a brand new grill. The other complaint with the burners is some do not ignite when I turn the knob for the jetfire ignition. So I end up turning the gas off to those and ignite the one I know lights each time; then I turn the others on for cross ignition. Again, shouldn't be an issue for a new grill especially at ... MoreSo far so good. Have used this grill for 2 months now and have enjoyed the grilling experience. So far great experience with the grill. I specifically chose this model for the cast iron cooking grates and the number of burners. Although my purchase experience at Lowe’s was not good, I’m enjoying the grill and learning the features. My 1st favorite feature currently is the sear burner. It made my reverse-sear steak turn out beyond my expectations. My 2nd favorite feature is the smoker box, which added flavor to my grilled chicken. My only disappointment so far is with the uneven cooking I’ve notice on the main grill. The meat in the back cooks slower than meat towards the front, which leaves me to believe the flame is hotter in the front. Perhaps this will improve over time as I spend more time on the grill and learn more about the many features. Finally, I ... MoreSo far great experience with the grill. A rear rotisserie burner would have been nice too, but at this price, I’m happy so far.
