Narciso Rodriguez for Her Musc Noir Eau de Parfum (100ml) - Multi - 100

I wrote a whole review how I wasn’t impressed with the sample of this perfume, and today I’m here to correct myself. I sprayed my wrist 3 times because I swore I couldn’t smell it. All I got was a syrupy, plum scent and that was it. Well, about 15 minutes later when my body heat brought this perfume to life, I got the real essence. I went to a store and instantly felt like the main character. It was so musky, fruity with a small hint of vanilla and an even smaller hint of rose. I could smell the perfume all the way into the following morning. I loved how safe of a scent it was, but so sexy. It really embodies beauty with a little edge. Narciso Rodriguez is one of my favourite houses - I've had the black and pink original For Hers, as well as the Pure Musc, and the white Narciso cube and the poudrée version - all lovely, great for layering and I salute the house for doing something a bit different and distinctive whilst staying modern and sexy. However, I have not really been a fan of a couple of the new Narciso cubes (esp. Ambrée) and I don't like this for a similar reason and that reason is a cheap floral note that throws the whole perfume off, a sour note that smells like cheap perfume gone stale. The rest of this is good - I like the plum, the softness, the musk, of course, but I just cannot cope with the florals in this. It's a clean musk fragrance with fruity and floral notes. Top note is Plum; middle notes are Musk and Heliotrope; base note is Suede. It gives me "my skin but better" vibes. I really like the dry down. It's so comforting. It has the classic NR For her bottle but it's transparent. The scent is suitable more for colder weather, autumn/winter.

I’m a little torn on this fragrance, because I do like it. I received a small bottle with my purchase of Musc Noir Rose. This is definitely not sensual like it claims, my boyfriend described it as something he’d smell in an air freshener lol it is definitely musky and powdery, but I actually think it’s pretty. It does not have strong sillage and the longevity is lacking as well. Tbh, it seems like another “vintage” scent, which is apparently bad in the perfume community? Lol I don’t mind, but it’s definitely not ground breaking, or sexy, if that’s what you’re looking for. It reminds me of something I smelled as a little girl; the same as Musc Noir Rose. I really LOVEEEE Narciso Rodriguez, especially this Fleur Musc fragrance. It’s not as strong and menly as the black one, and it’s sweeter, more floral, lovely, and luxury than the light pink one. The packaging is simple but luxury and heavy. It has the sweet floral scent from roses and warm scent from musk. Highly recommend for anyone who loves unique, warm but sweet fragrance. It can last around 4 hours. Really love it!

I’ve had quite a few perfumes lately that have a bad top note, so I knew to wait until it fully developed to see if I would like this fragrance. Musk is a tricky note (all depends on how it reacts with your skin chemistry). Thankfully I don’t mind the drydown - it calms down into a softer plum/musky skin scent. That said - Noir is a very misleading name - I wouldn’t wear a skin scent on a date night. I am a bit disappointed because I was hoping it would smell similar to the old school Poison but I don’t feel that it does. It’s a nicer musk than some of the other Narciso fragrances (ie. Narciso Rodriguez's Musc Noir For Her Parfum is a captivating and sophisticated fragrance. Almost a 5-Star but NOT Quite

This is/was my all time fragrance scent, and I have 50 other scents to choose from--most of them are Hermes and Tom Ford. BUT this "used to be" my favorite. To my dismay the manufacture changed the scent--just enough--so that it smells "off" to me and I can discern a different "less" fragrant scent now. Also when a company changes/adds something to the title of the name of a scent, that gives me reason to believe the scent has been changed in some way. It used to come in an ALL pink bottle WITH a pink cap. This one is in a clear bottle with a black cap and the words MUSC NOIR are placed above narciso rodriguez. That was my first clue something was amiss here....When will manufacturers realize customers CAN tell this difference?!!!

floral sensual musk fragrance

This product was gifted to me to try for my honest review, whether positive or negative.Lovely sensual fresh fragrance.A very feminine smell. One small spray goes a long way and lasts.I don’t usually like fragrances that are too sweet, but this one somehow has a sweet floral musk smell that is not too overpowering.It has great depth, you smell musk, and tones of floral, fruity, powder, and suedeThe fragrance last a full day and works for day or evening for me.I tried layering MUSC NOIR eau de parfum with PURE MUSC eau de parfum.This created a more lingering fruity smell. I prefer them seperate, but people who like sweeter fragrances may love this layering combination.
