The flat edge of the lipstick is new to me, I don't think I've even had a stick like that. It makes a great line and when I was younger it would have been amazing but now that my lips are getting thinner it was a little too wide for my top lip at my Cupid's bow.I also loved that the was no fragrance or flavor at all. A lot of lipstick have weird scents and tastes that turn me off but this was so neutral.The shade was also a red that I really liked. It might just be a problem with my lip/skin type etc. I really wanted to love this. I might try it in a less bold color to see if it works out better because I do like the the lipstick.

I have used and loved NARS lippies in the past, so when I saw that they had a new refillable products, you know I had to try it. Sadly, I did not select the right color for my very pale skin tone. Rendez-vous is a dark reddish brown that would look gorgeous on someone with more melanin than my pasty white face. Despite the color gaffe, I work it around the house anyway. The texture goes on smooth, if a bit stutters, but it is a bit dry for my preference. Granted, I have become partial to butter textures in puppies lately. Sadly, I did not select the right color for my very pale skin tone. Rendez-vous is a dark reddish brown that would look gorgeous on someone with more melanin than my pasty white face. Despite the color gaffe, I work it around the house anyway. The texture goes on smooth, if a bit stutters, but it is a bit dry for my preference.
