Nature's Bounty Vitamin D3 2000 IU 240 Count Softgels

The soft gels are very tiny and super easy to swallow. I often take 2 at once, although that is likely overkill. ( I do this becuase many of the professors in the biochemistry department where I was a former student were taking like ~500-1000mg a day as self-experiments, which is the equivalent of like 10 of these pills. I think they concluded that that much was not helpful (but not hurtful).) I don’t notice any obvious difference when i take vitamin D vs when i forget to take it, but that is likely becuase I also get a lot in my diet (milk) or from sunbathing (briefly) outside without sunscreen (if you do this, do it for 15min at a time ONLY— 7.5 minutes on front and then on back— any longer and you should wear sunscreen!). I liked the efficacy of these vitamins. When I was living in the Canadian Arctic for a few years it was hard to get vitamin d in my diet or just in my body in general due to half the year being immersed in darkness with very little sun and of course it being so cold that even when the sun is up some days you don't really want to be outside or cannot go outside due to blizzards and winter storms. So when I started taking these it was so necessary. I felt a change in me immediately. I super recommend these to anyone living in northern climates or places with less sunshine. So important!

In 2020 I had a stem cell transplant to hopefully cure my lymphoma. This procedure completely erases your bone marrow, your immune system essentially, and starts it over. Because of this I've had to redo all of my childhood vaccinations, but I've also had to be very careful with what I expose myself to. My oncologist recommended that I add vitamin D3 in this dose to my daily vitamins to keep my immune system strong. 2 years later and so far it has helped tremendously, I very rarely get sick and I've been stronger and stronger at every doctors checkup. I will continue to use this vitamin for the remainder of my life, it can never hurt to have a stronger immune system.

My husband bought this product for me to support more vitamin D3. It’s a softgel and easy to drink m. But honestly I dont see the difference before and after using that product. Maybe I should try it for a ling time. There are various products of Nature’s Beauty that you should try.

I have vitamin D deficiency. So my doctor advise me to have at least 4000 iu per day. I ordered this after reading the good reviews on this product. I forgotten to put my unit number in my address and good thing that the delivery man called and clarified with me and have my order delivered. After using it for several months, taking 2-3 gels per day, my hair loss significantly reduced. So it works for me. I do not feel there is any particular smell or taste. Quality seems good. Will purchase again.

Great product

Was advised to start using vitamin D3 by my general physician due to vitamin D deficiency. Tastes neutral, no fishy/oily smell or taste. Package size big enough to last for a couple of months. Good quality judging by ingredients. Hope staying more in the sun and taking these will do the trick.
