I was one of the very lucky recipients of the Glosscars 2019 prize pack. One of the products in the pack was the Natures Way Beauty Collagen Shot pack which contains 10 x 50ml bottles. It comes in a sturdy cardboard box. The bottles themselves are a cute dark amber coloured glass bottle, convenient to throw one in the handbag on your way out the door. My box says the product is made in Taiwan but the company is Australian Owned. It contains fish products so is not appropriate for vegans. The collagen that comes in anti-ageing products comes in many forms. I found it very sweet and it reminded me ever so slightly of medicine. It does froth up a little when its shaken.I can't say I saw any improvement after 10 days in the elasticity of my skin (which I wouldn't expect from any product after only 10 days). BUT I'm not likely to purchase it to test it further. The cheapest I've seen it is on sale - half price for $17.49. Still a lot more than I am willing to pay.After doing some reading up on Collagen on the internet I noticed there is a lot of conjecture as to whether ingesting collagen is of any benefit to the skin. From my research I discovered that Collagen is a protein and as we age production of Collagen slows down but can be replaced with supplements or by eating a meat rich diet (which is usually what most supplements are made of). Whether the collagen we ingest can actually make its way to the skin surface to replace, restore and repair skin elasticity is a question that isn't clearly answered.I think its a very expensive but convenient way of getting your daily dose of collagen and vitamins, if it works.For me, I'd rather eat meat.

I've been run down this year and my hair has really suffered and also my skin but not to the same extent so I needed a supplement boost. Natures Way Beauty Collagen Shot pack contains 10 x 50ml servings and is to be taken once daily after shaking. The shots have a berry flavour that tastes ok and is easy to swallow. It doesn't have a fake flavour taste to make it taste delicious which I am hoping makes it more natural.I have new hair growth and my skin is looking more vibrant which I am very happy with and I will continue to use it. I think with supplements it's a long term commitment and not a one hit wonder to see the full result.
