We had researched Turmeric and decided it might meet our needs. My partner had a cardiac event which has left him with cognitive and memory issues. We have been taking Turmeric for the past month and his memory is definitely improving, his reasoning ability is improving. I'm taking it for the cardiac benefits and will take a blood test soon to see if it has helped my cholesterol. We are using it on our dog (small amount) to see if it helps his cancers. great price, will certainly keep using it.

Turmeric has been used for centuries in India and other countries for a variety of ailments. Not all commercial Turmeric is of a high enough standard to be effective but I have found this one to be an excellent antidote for arthritis. Since using it with Boswellia I have seen a significant diminution of symptoms and I now have no swelling and minimal pain. Two tablets twice a day is the optimal dose.

My husband and I are in our 70’s and have taken the Nature Made Turmeric for years. It is amazing for reducing inflammation and discomfort. This is the only brand we use because out of the 500mg in one tablet 475mg are the key ingredient curcuminoids. I have looked at other brands supplement facts and even though they say 500mg per serving for the turmeric tablet the back label drops the amount of curcuminoids much lower. I have seen some as low as 150mg curcuminoids on the back label.

Good but I ended up going with a brand that had the added pepper for enhanced absorption. I like this brand in general, and not to mention there packaging and I like the square pill bottles for easy storage but I just prefer the added pepper for absorption. There are many studies that show this added ingredient makes Turmeric more affective. So in the end I had to follow the science.
Tumeric to be a great way to address inflammation. Regular use reduced aches in my joints, and numbness and tingling in my hands. I found that a dose of 500mg twice per day worked best for me. Nature's Way is a good brand that is well priced.
When it came to my attention a year ago that Turmeric helps boost the immune system and help with cognitive function, I decided to give it a whirl. I tried adding it to a morning smoothie, the the stuff turns everything yellow. So I switched to Turmeric Tablets by Nature's Way, which eliminates the "yellow factor". I definitely notice a bump in alertness and as part of my all natural diet, it has been part of the regimen to help with issues with alertness, energy, and boosting my immunit
Most turmeric extract is powder in capsules, and occasionally that causes an unpleasant burp of yellow powder! These tablets don't have that problem. While not the absolute best mg/dollar value, I don't think there is much evidence that a bigger dose would do much more good, you just need to take some every day, so this is an excellent value when computed as tablet/dollar. One downside is that these tablets don't have bioperine as many of the other turmeric extracts do. I just take the separate bioperine capsules that Swanson sells. It still comes out as a better value, since that bioperine helps me absorb Swanson's low-cost CoQ10 and other supplements, as well. With turmeric's long history in Ayurvedic medicine, as well as the many modern scientific studies ... MoreMost turmeric extract is powder in capsules, and occasionally that causes an unpleasant burp of yellow powder! Turmeric is the best herbal product on the market. Prevents a lot of illnessfrom occurring. Something physician keep from the general public.
I was suffering from severe Trigiminal Neuralgia for over 5 years. I was initially on gamabantin and later progressed to Lyrica.Late last year I started taking Nature's Way Standardized Turmeric 2 times a day each tablet is 500mg.I can safely say that today my pain has completely reduced and I have stop taking my pain killers.I believe is the Turmeric did the job. I am a happier person and I still continue taking the turmeric each day.
1st thing to turn to to treat ANY autoimmune disease. Eliminates an Rheumatoid Arthritis flare up within 36 HOURS and takes away all the PAIN TOO! I Take 2 tablets 3 times a day if I am starting to have a flare up and when it goes away, (usually by the next day) I lower the daily dose till I am down to one tablet and keep taking one a day to stave off another flare up. It usually flares up when I am run down or try to go with too little sleep or am catching a cold or other illness. Don't stay up all night like I sometimes do.
