Nature Valley Crunchy Granola Oats & Chocolate Bars 5x42g

I love these so much. I buy Nature Valley oats n' honey crunchy granola bars everytime they're on a really good sale and stock up. I keep them on hand because they are such a great snack when you're busy and running on an empty stomach or between meals. If I had kids I'm guessing they would be perfect to stuff in their lunches. They're sweet and delicious and come in packs of 2. It makes me feel like I'm getting an extra treat and can keep one to the side if I get hungry later. These are so yummy

I wouldn’t exactly say these are super healthy and low in sugar, but yes, they do contain fiber and are a great treat. With whole-grain oats and no high fructose corn syrup you don’t need to feel guilty. We use them for kid breakfasts when we are running late or snacks in between soccer games. They provide a subtle energy boost and are also filling. My favorite part is the crunch which makes me feel like I’m indulging in the dessert. They can be found at all grocery stores, and even a BJ’s and Costco and the giant boxes.

This granola bar is a staple item in my house, at least for my husband, my nine year old daughter likes these as well. I used to like these until I realized they are genetically modified:(. On the plus side they have a great healthy taste even if not organically made with the perfect crunchiness. I’m not a fan of chewy granola bars. The only chewy/crunchy (nuts) bars I like are the kind bars, as well as the Target brand ‘Good Gather’ fruit nut bars… if you like chocolate covered cherries like myself then try the good gather fruit nut-cashew, cherry, almond cocoa drizzle! It’s the best, even better then the kind bar that it copies! Happy snacking;).

CVS is an amazing store. we keep coming back again and again to buy Nature Valley Granola Bars Oats 'n Honey. The flavor is just amazing and all the health ingredients make if a family favorite. Great for a quick breakfast, lunch snack and all day treat when you need an energy pick up. CVS is an amazing store, that have everything our family needs. This granola bar is over the top with flavor and crunchiness!!!

Packaging on individual granola bars was horrible. The first one I opened was soft, like air/moisture had gotten to it. I sampled another one and it was very dry (as it should be), upon further inspection half of the bars were dry and half were not. The few bites I had of the first bar made me ill. Turned me stomach inside out and made my skin itch.Absolutely disgusts me to think/write about it.I will not be purchasing this product again.

Taste different/stale like quality

Just purchased a box of these…expiration date is October 2022 so that can’t be it. Immediately noticed 2 things 1) the texture has a stale like quality. No longer as crispy/crunchy. 2) the taste is also different. They now possess more of a bland, flat taste—now they are just sweet without the depth of flavor. Looked on line to see if they have changed the recipe and it seems they did at some point—don’t know when as the article wasn’t dated. Apparently this change was in an attempt to make them easier to eat?!? Seriously, if this was done as an improvement you have definitely missed the mark. Won’t be purchasing again. The rest of the box will be fed to the wildlife in my backyard.

Very difficult to open package

Walmart is getting rid of its store brands and not only forcing you to buy the name brand but having to buy the largest package. I don’t know if they have gotten rid of the store brand but it was half the price of the brand name and not difficult to open. I don’t have arthritis so the packaging is just bad and the price is way higher. May start buying BOGO at Publix. Plus they are always running out of things. This is probably a shortage of workers.

The ingredients are very healthy for you and so very satisfying after a hard day at work, as a snack for lunch, after meals or for a great breakfast to start your day!!! Works Great!

I have read some of the reviews on this and think people are buying a different product. If you buy the 18" STEEL guard, it should work for you. I have two bird feeding stations on poles away from anything any critters can jump from. On one station I have this, the steel 18" guard and the squirrels and raccoons cannot climb it. On my other station I have a smaller plastic guard up. It doesn't work as well. I have a game camera and see exactly what goes on outside. A few smart squirrels can manage to get past the small plastic one. And I just saw on my game camera one very smart raccoon who has figured it out and sits on top eating the sunflower seed. They cannot get past my 18" steel guard though and that is why I am here, to but another.
