I love this product. I am only giving it a one star this time, because this box the product inside was not at top quality. I can not know if it happened during the production process or in transport. All the bars we have opened are broken crumbles. The chocolate and peanut butter has melted at some point. I am not returning, it is just to much hassle. We can still dump contents on yogurt, and eat them.

Disappointing

First off, the box shows the 3 different varieties, one of which I assume is peanut butter with an 'icing'. NONE of the varieties have any such 'icing' or peanut butter on them. This is confusing and borderline false advertising. Other than the distinct chocolate taste in the Oats 'n Dark Chocolate variety, they all taste exactly the same.

Frustrated with new wrappers

The new wrappers on crunchy granola bars are absolutely terrible!!! They don’t rip easily as they have a stretch to them now. This makes them hard to open without getting crumbs everywhere. Love the bars but hate the packaging. Did nobody at corporate even open one to test??

Good Granola Bars, TERRIBLE Packaging

The product is pretty good (with milk, in my case), but the packages can be hard to open. You have to locate exact magic spot on the packaging and then apply a good bit of strength (don't try with greasy or damp hands; you'll get nowhere). I can't imagine elderly people opening these at all, except with scissors. Why do you do this to yourselves when you are probably losing sales as a result? And while I'm at it, why not use paper or waxed paper instead of ugly forever plastic? Isn't this supposed to be NATURE Valley?

Nature Valley Crunch peanut butter

I’ve eaten peanut butter nature valley crunch bars for many years. Recently I’ve been shocked by the taste. I buy the family pack size. Each individual pack tastes different. One might have Peanut butter that tastes old, no peanut butter or the granola tastes old. Just disappointed because I loved these bars.

Nostalgic Enjoyment

These got me through Marine Corps boot camp many years ago and continue to be a staple in my civilian career when on set for long hours. I only like the Oats & Honey flavor… because it was the only flavor we were given in boot camp and it’s engraved in my brain that it is the ONLY flavor in existence. I also don’t choke on it because someone is screaming at me to hurry up.They are healthy-ish while still satisfying my sweet tooth during boredom or wanting to procrastinate. I don’t know the exact nutrition facts, but I consider it better than eating a sleeve of Oreos, so I call it a win. It also isn’t the quietest snack, but luckily it is seen as healthy enough so that when my son (10) hears me, he doesn’t want to steal 3/4 of it from me.

Poor packaging

I like them but there seeems to be a problem with packaging. My last two variety pack boxes have all been the same flavor, even though the wrappers were all different. Open a dark chocolate and get oats and honey. Open a peanut butter and....oats and honey!!? Hire some competent people or fix your manufacturing line!!

Quality control needs improvement

I eat the peanut butter bars every day and have been eating them for over a year. The quality control is very inconsistent. At least one package in every box of 6 is stale. Apparently, crumbs prevent a good seal in the foil wrapper. Considering how much these cost, you would think Nature Valley could afford decent QC inspectors.

Trusted snack

Great product, poor quality shipped. While we love Nature Valley products, every bar inside appears crumpled. Even the wrapper looks roughened up. I’ve bought many small bar packs, and never had this issue. Taste and freshness are not marred by condition thankfully. It’s a great price per item so I may give it one more try. I did have this shipped due to unavailable in club. * outer box is fine, no damage on exterior manufacturer packaging nor the shipping box.

VERY DISSATISFIED

I have always loved the Nature Valley Granola bars, however I was very upset with these. They were very stale, and looked as if they came from old stock. I thought at first that it may just be a bad one that may have gotten a tiny hole in as it was being packaged and became stale. But now I find they are all like this! I also realized that the dates were different on them. I don’t know what has happened, but these went into the trash! I would not recommend these to anyone now. Hopefully this will not become a habit of Nature Valley’s products.
