I’m guessing most folks who didn’t find this helpful didn’t use as directed. It helps take the edge off and has assisted all the rescues I’ve used it with. Current foster kitten actually rolled himself into a mini burrito after I sprayed the bed covers, so it’s a budget friendly option for those who can follow directions. I don’t use it in a giant room and it only works up to four hours. After a play session to wind the babes down, or if I’ll be away a long time, it certainly doesn’t hurt ! When ur working with a very limited budget, or can’t afford feliway or melatonin over and over give this one a shot.

When I took my cat to the vet, they used FeliWay calming spray for the cat since he was a feral cat. I was surprised that he was acting so good and docile. So I purchased Nature's Miracle calming spray because of the price, 3 times less than the cost of the FeliWay but it isn't worth it. This Nature's Miracle didn't seem to do anything to any of my cats. Next time, I will purchase the FeliWay

I have tried a couple of so-called calming items (including a big brand name) without any success. I bought this on a whim, and WOW! Never want to be without this spray...I have a ginormous kitty that does not care for company--he tends to hiss, and has actually bitten a guest of mine (well, several people, not breaking skin), & has clawed me a few times. He also was tending to hide in my basement despite all the snackies, treats, cold water, beds, fans, gravies, brushies and on and on. I sprayed this in my master bedroom, brought him into the room (which is calm and quiet), and he finally transitioned into the lap cat I desperately wanted. He is a rescue (I believe based on his size with long hair he really resembles a Maine Coon breed, but he also will go flacid like a rag doll variety cat when I am trying to move him from one place to another). I got him fixed at appropriate kitten stage, but he is just prone to being shy, and aggressive when he is feeling threatened...at his size, it's not just embarrassing when he "shows out", but also he will scratch you up, so that's not appropriate cat behavior, either, and he did not respond to any sort of behavioral treatments I have attempted in the past. And those pricey plug ins do NOT help his anger issues (I have no idea why he responds in the matter he does as I got him saved as quickly as he was weaned from his bio mother, & he was brought up in a safe, comfortable environment with plenty of love, attention, and snackies, so I have no clue why he acts out. I also do not know or understand how in the world this spray works, but when I use it (I do so daily, in the areas he frequents), & this is as good as it gets. He now sleeps in the bedroom (still claws a leather ottoman I am not exactly pleased about, but better than drawing blood from me or my guests!). He seems to sleep more soundly and is just altogether more pleasant without being completely sedated. The price for my sanity is incredibly reasonable--I never want to run out of this product. I have another cat (the Alpha male), & even he tends to spend more time indoors & without there being drama between the animals. On another note, I have also rescued an elderly female & she has been accepted by the two males (all are fixed, of course). However, she seems impervious to this spray (she has poor vision and hearing, has trouble with balance and other issues & she also is not different when catnip comes out--maybe a smelling problem?). So of my 3 fur babies, 2 have had really positive responses to the spray. I can't say enough about this item, and hope it will help someone else out that maybe is leaning toward abandoning an aggressive cat--please, give this a chance, and don't rid yourself of an awesome pet who just happens to be a bit neurotic. Best of luck, and please don't dump your pets off and fill up more shelters with unwanted animals when you could potentially have the kitty you imagine with just a little bit of help and love.

I should have used it sooner. My older female cat didn’t like the new kittens. A year later and she was still hissing and lunging at them. Used this by spraying it all around the room and she was calmer within a few hours and is a different cat now. So calm and not bothered by the kittens. I was worried it has lavender and that’s supposed to be toxic to cats but I’m sure they would have researched this to be a safe quantity. I think the smell calms me too.
Any new toys or perches are sprayed prior to introducing to sweet fuzzy guy. And different areas sprayed prior to people coming over - reducing our fuzzy boys stress!! Best of all is cleaning his carrier then spraying prior to taking him to vet - he is less anxious. Pleased with this product! Will order more in near future!
I used to get this for my cats and it seemed to work pretty well. Was effective when I’d spray in their carriers before the trip to the vet.I think (but I could very well be wrong) that the scent has changed and I’m not a big fan. It seems to have a mint undertone which I’m not crazy about for a couple of reasons not the least of which is that mint is toxic to cats.It might be effective but I’m not 100% sure. I can’t tell whether the cats would be ready for their naps, bedtime and therefore they’re ready to settle or whether this is actually affecting their relaxation. If you’ve purchased this before and have recently replenished your supply and you feel that something has changed, the smell is a bit “off”, just know you’re not alone.Bottom line: I’d probably ... My smallest kitty seems to have developed a case of stress-possibly being bullied by another cat. She has been over-grooming so I got this thinking it would help. She gets a worried look on her face when she sees me coming with the bottle. It does calm her down but the fragrance is overpowering & it causes stains on fabrics. I don't know just what ingredients it has but it seems to trigger my allergies. I won't be buying it again for those reasons.
We were desperate for something to calm our cats but this product had the reverse effect. They refused to sleep on or near their bedding after I'd sprayed a little on it. We had to wash and clean it all. And I think there is lavender in it which they hate and which is supposed to be toxic to cats. The company should provide a proper list of ingredients so that it is possible to work out what your cat is reacting to. Absolute waste of money.
I am NOT at ALL satisfied with the "new, improved" Nature's Miracle Calming Spray for cats. The old formula actually contained natural ingredients and essential oils, and smelled pleasantly of lavender. The new formula has "fragrance" in place of essential oils, among other things, and the odor doesn't come close to a natural, or even a pleasant scent. Instead, it is mildly reminiscent of urine. No bueno, Nature's Miracle. I'll be looking for a more natural alternative.
Although my senior foster cat exhibited a lot of apprehensive behavior issues, I formally adopted her - didn't want her to be shuffled off to another foster environment - - - Although her vet prescribed meds help, "Midnight" needed additional mood relaxer - - adoption agency provided 'Felixaway'?? product name and correct spelling??? Anyway, it didn't help. I called Chewy for advice and recommendations. Thanks to Chewy's suggestions, I ordered Nature's Miracle - and with one spray in 'Midnight's' bed and surrounding area, Midnight's anxiousities have REALLY dispelled.
