What an excellent dash camera from Navman. I purchased the Mivue 870 to replace my much older Mivue 740 which began struggling to lock onto satellites. The Mivue 870 is nothing short of brilliant with very sharp images when recording. I really love this dashcam. However, buyer beware, it is also safety camera and in this department, perhaps a wee bit sensitive. The Settings Menu is quite extensive with complete control over every Safety Camera function. I found the Lane Departure function and Driver Beware functions quite sensitive but are easily switched off, or even changed from a voice to a beep if the functions are to be retained. Disappointed. Takes forever to load a preview, (if at all.) Havnt actually seen one yet, probably quicker just to download the whole days worth. Other than that, it does what it’s supposed to.

Installation - easy to install the camera. One thing to mention the SD card needs to be purchased separatelly and it needs to be formated after you insert SD card into device (you will then need to find the format functon from screen menu). The carema is not designed with super high resolution (to catch details from plate number for exampe) but should be good enough to record major movements.
Excellent set up and display. Features supposedly off by default had to be manually turned off, but otherwise brilliant.
I love that it warns you of school zones, speed limits and speed cameras. I haven't had an event yet so I can't give an opinion about it. However there is one problem, some roads have a 100 speed limit, but the dash cam keeps warning that it is a 60 zone, still trying to work it out. Other than this one issue, it is a great camera with sharp images, like the app it works well.
Great dash cam and a very handy safety camera feature that can be updated via app. Too many feature i don't need. Don't like how sticks on windscreen prefer old suction cup method.
Positive: Great product, crisp clear footage both day and night, reasonable easy setup, easy to get footage from memory card using computer and good price.Negative: App Navman MiVue Pro not very user friendly, first set up a bit difficult as you need to have it connected to the power outlet in the car as an USB power port on your computer doesn't work, the WiFi connection between smartphone and the dashcam not always working.Overall: We had a Blackvue dashcam installed in our previous car four times the cost of the Navman but footage quality not better than the cheaper Navman - in fact the footage of the Navman is overall more crisp and clear.
Easy to use and good clear picture. The operating features are easy to understand. Buying from JB click and collect was 100% and very quick availability.
Good camera, some features not working. The GPS fails to connect every time, so I don’t get speed or location data. Other than that the camera is pretty good.
