Camera constantly needs to be reset for the record function to work and if you reset it you will lose all your footage. If you don't check if it's recording EVERY time you drive you might miss capturing an incident. My car got hit parked on the side of the road. Went to check my camera and it turns out it was never recording. This is my second MiVue 900 after returning the first one for the same issue because I thought it was a faulty machine. Will be getting a refund.

The Dash Cam work well provided you insert the correct MicroSD Card. This camera will only record with selected cards - not all class 10 cards are equal/

Bought this cam older version 830DC in March 22, the package didn't include mini-usb cable required to connect camera to a pc or Mac to update it. my dash cam is speaking speed camera alert in closed suburb streets where there is no camera, unable to update either.it should have given options to read memory card by inserting in a phone, but it doesn't.you need a phone an a card reader to download videos.Camera quality overall is good. have it professionally installed
Purchased 4/7/2022cam doesn't automatically start recording when car starts up it turns on but that's about it, can take a few times of unplugging and plugging back in to get it to record. Bought 2 brand new Sandisk High Endurance SD cards (as recommended on Navman website) they both failed to work in the dash cam, constant message saying format SD card or insert a new one, I can format the card and next time I can get it to record it says the same message.Over it!Will be returning for a refund.
The only problem is dosnt know when is on parking mode or driving and also the screen dosnt turn on sometimes
Easy to set up. Can split video into very short intervals - 1 min each. Easy to find back any moment you require.Can set to be black screened but actually recording - will not distract drivingIt uses one of the cigarette lighter port though - make sure you have enough cigarette lighter port
Not recommended, for the price. No wifi/app connection ro review or save, not user friendly, need expensive micro sd higher transfer, not compatible with other hardwire kit. Same footage with less expensive dash cam. Its invluded slide attachment once fitted, difficult to adjust and remove.
It doesnt have WIFI or Bluetooth so Im not happy with it. It also says that theres a speed camera in streets where there isnt any.
received as gift, would not record with sd card suggested by store , returned for another sd card same problem ,got full refund . NAVMAN take off shelves until you develop a card that can record from both cameras DO NOT RECOMMEND
