Amazing value for money, top of the range!

Very impressed with this unit, I brought this for our second car at a much cheaper price than the one I purchased from the caryard with our other car (like 1/4 the price). This unit is far superior. The footage is so much clearer, and it is easy to download any footage directly to the app, I don't need to take out the SD card to share footage. I will be going back to buy another to replace the other one if my other car.

Defective out of the box (rear camera failure).

Absolute garbage quality control. There is either EMI on the ridiculously long 8m cable (no shorter option for a normal car) or the rear camera module is defective after not even getting a power-on test in factory (basic quality control measure). After complaining to NAVMAN I have to de-install, return, re-install with no compensation for time/cost of the extra work.

Does what it says on the box. Excellent utility!

I’d purchased another brand device elsewhere previously the same week on special. Failed to live up to any of the hype and returned it. The quick-release mount works perfectly to allow easier menu setting or stowage. This camera and other Navman offerings feature at the top of the Australian CanStar ratings and now I see why. This is a well designed camera with a great interface as opposed to the other name brand(Starts with N ends with E) that promised much, overheated routinely, had a diabolical app interface, was buggy and hard to set, practically non-existent support, and simply wouldn’t recognise the rear camera. I’m in Perth, summer’s almost here and heat and electronics don’t play nicely. No such problems detected with the Navman.Buy the Navman with confidence and save much time and hassle for not much more dough!

Don't bother, get something else
23 August 2024

I don't normally write reviews but felt compelled to write one for this dashcam. Bought it on sale and thought I got a good deal on a 4K dashcam, but I was wrong. The GPS unit failed straight out of the box, got a replacement unit from JB HI-FI which worked for about 2 hrs before failing again. It gets fixed by unplugging the power and/or doing a factory reset but I don't want to be doing that every single time I start the car. The rear camera also failed to turn on even though everything was properly connected, I somehow ended up making it work by connecting it to the main unit with another cable and then plugging it back in. But again, I don't want to have to check every time if the rear camera is recording or not. The camera unit also doesn't rotate 360 degrees - I can't point it down far enough to see the end of my bonnet and I have a standard-size sedan. Will be returning this for a Blackvue camera instead.

Excellent Product
16 February 2024

I had it professionally installed, It is neat and not obstructive does what it is supposed to do and that is protect my vehicle no matter where it is 24 x 7 days. It draws attention to speed cameras and a host of other safety features. This is the one I did my homework on and was very happy I could get it from the Qantas shop as I know they are renowned for quality products. Thank you.

Good cameras but disappointing features
13 February 2024

The cameras on this are good quality, and as a dashcam it functions well, but the software and features are terrible. First of all, I couldn't even set the time correctly as it doesn't include 30 minute timezones. Secondly, I had to disable the safety features as none of them work correctly and the camera is incessantly annoying. I expecting better for the price.

Great features, easy to setup.
2 December 2023

Looked around and viewed many a review in the large area of well overpriced dashcams. The navman mivue pro 4k dual cam did not dissapoint. A great camera with clear footage ,great clear pauses that you can zoom in on, adjustable ev(light exposure setting) and rear camera even works perfectly through my back tinted window. A great product and highly recommend.

Happy with the purchase and easy set up
29 June 2024

Spent all weekend trying to decide on a dashcam. Settled on this as I wanted dual cam, highest resolution possible, super capacitor battery and an app to use.I've installed it on my Mazda 6. It makes it hard on newer cars to find a spot with all the cameras and sensors on windscreen. It forces you to mount it a bit lower as the connection points are at the top which isn't ideal, side would be better.Set it all up this afternoon and it's running great. The app is easy to use, and produces quality front and reae images. It's 120 degrees FOV so not as wide as some others but I found it's less distorted at the edges.I've switched off all the warning stuff as it's intrusive. Wish the actual mini screen on the dash was high res also, looks so 90s.Highly recommend.

Impressive
24 November 2023

One of the standout features of the MiVue Pro 4K is its exceptional video quality (front & rear). The 4K resolution ensures crystal-clear footage, capturing even the smallest details with impressive clarity. I was particularly impressed with the low-light performance of the cameras.

As the title states, ignore that one person who is just hating on this dash cam.Pros:- Came with a free 64GB SD card (doesn't mention it anywhere on the site)- Screen is visible in the sun and at night.- Speed is accurate.- Easy to download clips (also see Cons section)- Simple to install.- Pairing with the app wasn't too hard.Cons:- I downloaded both apps from the Play Store, but only one works properly ("Navman MiVue Pro", NOT "MiVue Pro")- After doing a firmware update it deleted all my custom settings (screen off time, video quality, sound preferences) and I had to set them all up again.- Can't download and record at the same time.Overall 4/5 dash cam, 100x better than my last one which was a Kapture 890 that would stop working entirely whenever it ... MoreAs the title states, ignore that one person who is just hating on this dash cam.Pros:- Came with a free 64GB SD card (doesn't mention it anywhere on the site)- Screen is visible in the sun and at night.- Speed is accurate.- Easy to download clips (also see Cons section)- Simple to install.- Pairing with the app wasn't too hard.Cons:- I downloaded both apps from the Play Store, but only one works properly ("Navman MiVue Pro", NOT "MiVue Pro")- After doing a firmware update it deleted all my custom settings (screen off time, video quality, sound preferences) and I had to set them all up again.- Can't download and record at the same time.Overall 4/5 dash cam, 100x better than my last one which was a Kapture 890 that would stop working entirely whenever it felt like it.I also purchased this on special so I saved about $200. I don't think I'd buy this at the full $500+.
