Navman MiVue Pro 4K

Very impressed with this unit, I brought this for our second car at a much cheaper price than the one I purchased from the caryard with our other car (like 1/4 the price). This unit is far superior. The footage is so much clearer, and it is easy to download any footage directly to the app, I don't need to take out the SD card to share footage. I will be going back to buy another to replace the other one if my other car.

Absolute garbage quality control. There is either EMI on the ridiculously long 8m cable (no shorter option for a normal car) or the rear camera module is defective after not even getting a power-on test in factory (basic quality control measure). After complaining to NAVMAN I have to de-install, return, re-install with no compensation for time/cost of the extra work.

I’d purchased another brand device elsewhere previously the same week on special. Failed to live up to any of the hype and returned it. Then I went and purchased the Navman MiVue Pro 4K DC for a few extra bucks and got the Navman hardwire kit too. I can’t say I’ve explored all the functionality it offers yet but it installed and worked as advertised immediately. Having high quality video is important to me , as is having a rear camera. The front camera also has a calibration setting to adjust the received image laterally.It lets me know where school-zones, speed cameras, changing speed limits are and acts as a supplementary driving aid for lane-departure and following distance too if these are enabled in the menu.It takes up very little space next to the rear-view mirror and does not obstruct driver vision. The quick-release mount works perfectly to allow easier menu setting or stowage.This camera and other Navman offerings feature at the top of the Australian CanStar ratings and now I see why. This is a well designed camera with a great interface as opposed to the other name brand(Starts with N ends with E) that promised much, overheated routinely, had a diabolical app interface, was buggy and hard to set, practically non-existent support, and simply wouldn’t recognise the rear camera. I’m in Perth, summer’s almost here and heat and electronics don’t play nicely.No such problems detected with the Navman.Buy the Navman with confidence and save much time and hassle for not much more dough!
