NBA 2K24 [Kobe Bryant Edition]

One of the worst installments of the 2K franchise so far. Not sure how you can make this franchise even worse, but it is. 2K is all about selling VC and they even added a pro pass and you get in game ads trying to sell that, along with trying to sell VC. You have to dump VC before you can even equip badges. AI is way worse and unintelligent, making for very low IQ play in mycareer, rec, and myteam. Same commentary as last year, so this makes for very boring games. Game hasn't been great since 2K15 or 17, and hasnt been good at all since 2K20. Not even worth the 20 bucks on sale!

It's bare minimum basketball, but this game is incredibly aggravating. Why do I have to be online to play single player modes? I just played a whole game just for at the end for it to tell me there was a server error and I got no progress, and this kinda stuff happens all the time. For a game that has State Farm and Gatorade ads every minute it seems like there was little money spent on the quality of the game on the switch. And I got it at a discount. This game sucks. It's $70, a lot of people buy it every year, there's tons of ads and micro transactions, and yet it still feels like they hired a bunch of programmers fresh out of college. Could easily be so much better.
