When first faced with new cooktop I found it daunting!!!!!! I was scared to touch anything ........ tons of reading instructions........still scared to touch it ..Eventually I ditched theinstructions and proceeded to use it like any other cooktop( hungry by now) and it was simple to operate. Who'd havethought!!! Love it.

I bought this induction cooktop with high expectations. Having owned an induction cooktop for the past 7 years I was hoping that by buying Neff I would be amazed. But I’ve been amazed for all the wrong reasons. I was apprehensive about the control, mainly because I thought we might lose it. It turns out we haven’t lost it, but it is not at all easy to use! I am use to controls that I can turn down very quickly, however this turn dial control only operates after you have held your finger on it a few seconds, which when something is bubbling over is not helpful. Also it is not nearly as fast at boiling water etc as the previous cooktop I owned which is disappointing as that is one of the reasons I first bought induction. I also bought the larger cooktop knowing I cook with large pots and frying pans, but it is still not big enough. My last cooktop was smaller, but the actually cooking space was far more user friendly and I could easily cook with 4 pots / pans at once. Now I am lucky to get 3 on. Yes you can connect zones and I do this often just to try and get it to cover one of my frying pans. Then there’s the issue of uneven cooking. There seem to be hotspots and even when I have connected zones I still find that it doesn’t cover the frying pan well. And I noted the other day whilst boiling pasta that the front right was boiling away and the rest had no bubbles at all. All very uneven. So all in all very disappointing and definitely not worth the money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first induction hob. I have previously used gas. I am amazed at how quickly it heats and how quickly it stops heating! Gas is renown for how quickly it turns on and how quickly you can reduce the heat. This induction hob is much faster than gas for both heating and reducing the heat. It is wonderfully easy to clean. The control nob is very easy to use. I like everything about it.
